It is becoming obvious to me that Carlyle has little to no patience with the younger platers/prospects. Yes Colbourne was given a chance & didn't come through, it seems it will be a matter of time before he runs Gardiner out of town as well.

@Burtonboy Was a huge mistake resigning him, can say goodbye to acquiring a true number 1centre, his salary will make him untradeable (being a 3rd line centre on any other team).

For a draft that was as strong & deep as this years I was disappointed when Bolland who is a 3rd line centre was acquired for a 2nd & 4th round pick in this years draft. What are your thoughts on what the Leafs gave up?

@Pent_House @Black_Hawk Obviously the game won't be outdoors, Vancouver winters are mild. Will be far from a classic nevertheless.

Aside from signing Clarkson at a reasonable price, I don't see the answer of getting a number 1 centre from the UFA pool, which is weak at best. They have to go the trade route to find the true No. 1 Centre. Will be making the same huge mistake [Grabovski] over again by signing Rebeiro or Weiss, or god forbid Bozak for big bucks.

@leafscapguru So next year we'll have 6 offensive D men! Bernier will be shell shocked by the end of the season!

@Cameron19 @Komas Taberle Agree Nonis has his sights set on Weiss
Hearing that the Canucks owners are in a pickle money wise, a suggested deal:
To Leafs: Loungo (buyout), Shinkaruk & prospect or 2014 2nd rd
To Canucks: Reimer
