Like many others, I found your blog after your reaction story was on other news sites. Like many others, I created an account just to leave you a message. I have struggled with acne all my life! Well, ever since puberty. I'm 28 now and acne still runs my life. It's the reason I don't travel (for fear of showing my acne scars to roommates), I don't put up my hair in the scorching summer (my scars are near my jawline/ears), I cancel my plans last minute(if I'm having a bad skin day), I don't get a haircut (for fear of my hairdressers asking/talking about my skin).
You are so much stronger than me! My skin woes are not nearly as serious as your incident, but I already let it run my life. I could just imagine myself breaking down in depression if I had a reaction like yours. I wouldn't know how to keep on living.
You are right, regardless of how one's skin looks, there are still many things to be thankful for. I can see, hear, run..I can live. Not everybody has that priviledge either.
I check your blog every night because seeing your progress just makes my day so much happier! I am so happy for you! Your skin is healing so well!
Well, you've got a new fan now!
Cheers from Canada
