@Lobo @Purple Drank (2014 MSTY Poster of the Year) @Amblin In limited time in the minors, he did have like 10 K/9, but yah, that 4.5 K/9 is a huge red flag.

@PagansOedipalComplex @slaps825 @Mike Petriello @scottmbarrett Fangraphs in the small LF sample size of 265 innings have Kemp as a slightly minus left field arm.  That seems wildly inaccurate.

@Mike Petriello @scottmbarrett I really have my doubts that his defense has cost us 2.3 games.  It has been bad defense, but it's 1.5 games worse than Michael Morse?  Something seems off.

@Bull Doggy Dogg Dodgers have 17 fewer HRs in June than in May.  Is that why they are tanking?

@TellMyWifeISaidHello @PagansOedipalComplex @slaps825 My ultimate hope for Ethier was that we would suck in 2012 and he would be moved to a contending team desperate for some outfield pop.  Alas, we became a contending team looking for outfield pop.  And we extended him until he is 36.  Good job Ned.

@PagansOedipalComplex Still has a .370 OBP and .135 ISO.   Ethier would give his pinky to be anywhere near that.

@InsideThePark (Chavez Ravine) I would believe it if he actually ever hit the ball hard.  At this point,  SVS is hitting righties better.   Projections have Ethier recovering, but I worry that there is an underlying issue that projections aren't picking up on like a bad back.  He hasn't driven the ball well for three months now.

Ethier this month is .200/.246/.215   an ISO of .015.

@InsideThePark (Chavez Ravine) That is only eating about a third of his remaining contract to get rid of him.  $10M may be too much, but anywhere near them eating that much would be palatable I think.

@PagansOedipalComplex And in projections, you talk about percentile output.  What you said seems to be about 60-65th percentile, which is not really playing too far over his head.

In terms of adding an arm in the bullpen, Huston Street would be fun.  Also, if the Phillies chip in say about $10M over the next 3 years, Papelbon will have a really similar contract to Brandon League.   And it would seem that the Phillies wouldn't take too much to part with him.

Looking at ESPN's list of no-hitters, it's sort of funny to see that Brandon League was part of a combined effort to no-hit the Dodgers.

@TheOcelot @slaps825 The DH can hit for anyone.  Also, if Hanley were to play the field tonight, we would lose the DH and our pitchers would have to hit.  I really wouldn't put it past Donnie to find a way to double switch.
