While I'm a huge Kuli fan...one thing all these injuries have shown is
if he wants too much and he can't find his scoring touch again...I'm
comfortable finding his replacement within the team. Keep in mind this
is if we determine him to be in a third line role.
When he comes back from injury he'll need to step up right away and I'm
willing to bet with this injury being an ankle his conditioning is going
to take a hit. The deck isn't stacked in his favor right now with so
many UFA's anyway...this is making it worse for him as a Leaf.
Wild things I believe?

@adeel @Canadian kid @Wilbur - It's ok..I asked what a possible end game could be. Would necessitate this kinda chat! It's fun to wonder....

@adeel @Wilbur @Canadian kid - I'd cross off every team in our division and make it open season...with a preference to the West, of course.
@Komas Taberle @Canadian kid - My thinking is a dman as well. But I hesitate to put a prospect of any value with him. After all if everything works then we will be moving a number 1 tender simply because we'd have two of them.
Hard decision... I guess it would depend on the player coming back. Would have to think it's someone young as that seems to be what Nonis prefers.
@GreekGod - If he's out awhile I put him on LTIR and then call up Liles. We'll have more then enough room in that scenario.
I'm thinking Reimer and his Sens killing record starts on Sat....but man o man what a fantastic problem to have right now.
It's so hard because Bernier played lights out tonight.
I wonder what the end game becomes here...I'm thinking it results in Reimer being moved.
@dlb eh - I really hope we get Dion done during the season or in TC. That way his questions will be long dealt with when we're making our playoff run (knock on wood). Phil is gonna be Phil...we'll work with him after the season. But to take out one main cog would be ideal.
3 months ago on Franson wants 1 year, but the Leafs aren’t having it
@mcloki @JR from Halifax - A damn good party city.
@4evrblue - Could be interesting if that next is not Franson but Raymond. I really hope not but I'm wondering...
@Jimmy Keating @JR from Halifax - Crap...I wanted to get a reply in before the edit....lol
I'm beginning to wonder if we do end up dealing him...I really hope we can get him for 2 years. We can't afford to have someone else to sign next OS. He'd be in the same boat - his contract would most certainly come after Phil and Dion. I don't know if that idea is a good one for him either.

For the right price absolutely I'd take him. Size and strength and a been there done that mentality. Would've been huge for us this past year. Can't wait to see what happens.
