@TheCanucksnaphook @McDickey And I agree but just bc its his website doesn't mean I'm gonna read a bunch of Bullshit and pretty much just a drunken rant. I have yet to talk to someone in person that didn't think this was a good deal yet I come on here and Nonis is getting torn a new one.

What a stupid write up. These deals 100% made the team better and you go on a rant about us giving up frattin, Grabo and Macarthur lol  give your head a shake ALEC. What a Crook, we need to strengthen down the middle done we did it with bolland, we needed to improve our goaltending done with berneir, we need to get  tougher and add more character and we did that with Bolland and Clarkson. You should be ashamed of that embarrassing amateur write up.

@hometeem 4.2 is not big money it is deserved money. The guy plays on the top line, top penalty kill and I think works his ass off. Just use common sense here everyone, we got rid of Frattin, Grabo, Scrivens and Mac then brought in Clarkson, Bolland, Bernier, Colbourne , What would you rather have

@skiingallday it is a desperate move that could pay off. To me Nonis seems like a man of his word. He said at the end of the season big changes are coming this off season and the team is going to look a lot different. So far he has held up to that and I'm looking forward to what other changes are in store

@Cameron19 @WendelGilmour Grabo started off with kuli and Macarthur and didn't perform. Sure it was a short leash but he was out played by Kadri and Bozak. For years I was saying play Grabo with Kessel and Lupul but nobody wanted that, it's sad to see him leave but it's over with now so everybody needs to relax. I'm thinking this compliance buy out was a bad idea for both players and the GM's, I'm sure Tampa fans must of also been absolutely livid with the buy out of Lecavelier, like how the fuck can't you get a trading partner for vinny, did they even ask the Leafs

@Wardus The explanation is he played like shit last year and didn't earn his 5.5mil. With Kadri, Franson, Gunnarson, Bozak, Colbourne and the addition of Bolland there is no longer room for him

@Omac13 hell yes however I hate all bruins so I'd rather none on the team. I'd like iggy and scuderi. Roll with kadri (1C)  bolland (2C) and Colbourne (3C)

@2minutes why would we hold back salary for a mesely pick? We got rid of Grabos 5.5 mil without taking anything away from our cap space

@sniperstar @McDickey @Black_Hawk Whether that is true about the skating ability I'm not sure, I've seen bolland and like him and see the next Tucker or Corson in our future. However my only point was when we got Mcclement almost everybody was posting that Carlisle has finally got his shutdown guy so I found the comment funny when we get Bolland and you and probably others say Carlisle finally has his shutdown guy lol

@Cameron19 @McDickey Unfortunatly you have to give to get and Nonis wanted Bernier. As for giving up assets we still have lots of picks , lots of prospects and lots of roster players that can be used in trades. I hardly think that Frattin is the be all end all for getting a future deal done.

@4evrblue @McDickey @Cameron19 So he would be a Macarthur or Grabovski basically whom most want traded..lol I liked Frattin as much as the next person but at the end of the day he will most likely be a third liner. We now have depth in goal and I personally think it will benefit Reimer and Bernier as they will be pushing each other as where Scrivens offered little competition. People also forget that Frattin and Scrivens are 25 it isn't like their young prospects. I personally would take the security in the net as we have plenty of young players coming up in the system but no goalies. Do you really want to bank the future all on Reimer.

@Cameron19 You do understand that we only gave up Frattin from a talent standpoint. We have lots of players that can fill in his shoes. One name that comes to mind right away is Colbourne. But IMO Nonis plans to fill the void through free agency and not trade. Frattin didn't fit the mould and Nonis is going to try and add grit and toughness in the top 6 / top 9

@4evrblue @Cameron19 No, he's not at all and with the talent we lost we gained. Frattin can be easily replaced in free agency and scrivens was just upgraded. You don't just find goalies like bernier everyday, Nonis saw an opportunity and jumped on it.
