I AM GLAD Irsay lambasted the coaching staff. They deserved it. I don't care if there is a lack of talent on the field, if you ARE on that field it is quite obvious that your talent is potentially NFL quality or you wouldn't be there. period......So to be outplayed and out worked and out hustled bother fringe NFL players is inexcusable.....It was just a very poor performance. and its on the coaches and players to fix it.

If DHB continues to be inconsistent, simpy move T.Y. to split end and put Griff Whalen in the slot....and only use DHB on 4 wr sets

@paulcareyjr @Kyle Rodriguez the safety play was horrid because zibby sucked and bethea had to compensate which took him away from what he is best at...roaming and being a good cover/tackling safety...the addition of landry will strengthen bethea...we will see the bethea of old, and if landry doesnt "coast" because he got paid, and plays like the beast he has shown flashes of (i.e bob sanders type play) and stays healthy, we wont have to worry about Lefeged or anyone else.....in fact I much prefer Boysett, and even darius butler as a nickel corner, who can play some free safety.....not a big fan of lefeged...at all. if we are arguing is lefeged better than anyone behind bethea and landry, well, possibly but if he isnt even a legitimate 3rd safety that we have to argue about just get rid of him and try to get a better player or groom a better player....boysett,butler, to play the position if need be...Butler is very versatile coming from new england and could excel at free safety if needed in a short term type role...

@Kyle Rodriguez @stpetejohnny for a man that has spent his life the GM of teams with HOF Qb's, Kelly and Manning, he sure has a dismal playoff and super bowl record.....something he surely wont mention when he is bragging about himself...

but he constantly gets lauded for being a hall of fame executive......please....Bill Polian is a joke...yah yah...ok. he obviously knows some football, but he knows far less than he thinks, and he has had far LESS success than he thinks......he is a stat padder...only concerned with his resume.....its his disgraceful decisions that have cost the colts multiple super bowls and a chance at a perfect season......fuck him...glad hes gone....

polian built the exact style of a team in Buffalo....and what happened they LOST 4 super bowls in a row to teams that were more physical.......Polain is great for getting a team built to have success against the weaklings of the league (if he has a HOF qb, anyone can do that) and he is even better at keeping that team from winning anything meaningful..

I agree....it was such a stupid post it didnt even warrant a comment in my mind..LOL..but glad you addressed it. offensive line is precisely the reason why we havent won the super bowl since 2006......we cant run the ball...once tarik glenn retired, adam meadows was shipped off, jake scott, ryan lilja, ryan diem, and jeff saturday and various other quality players add in our love of passing th eball with our superstar QBS first 18 now Luck, and a "soft" defense built to play with a lead, and what do you have? a recipe for losing in the playoffs to more well rounded and physical in nature teams.....period....thats why I like lots of the changes we are making.....

I wouldnt say wayne lacks physicality entirely....marvin harrison lacked physicality entirely.....wayne is from the U....he knows how to use his hands..believe me.

Wayne is a stud...he has shown he can be a number one receiver...he will be a hall of famer. he is very crafty reminds me a lot of andre reed. he is not exceptionally fast, or necessarily the besy yards after catch guy, but he is wise, physical enough to get open, runs great routes, works extremely hard, and has awesome hands...and is a very clutch performer....see the green bay game......I mean I love the guy...but he is a perfect and I mean perfect number two receiver.....like when he lined up opposite  marvin harrison....or if he would have lined up opposit jerry rice or randy moss or etc......he has shown he can be a number one, no doubt........but he is a guy that was absolutely PERFECT as a compliment and I do mean a 90-100 catch per year compliment to your number one guy.....

I have no doubt that Whalen, Cleary, Hickman, Satele, Nevis, Brazil, Mckinney and Linkenbach will make the team the rest are bubble players..

I like all the changes we have made. of course I miss #18. and as far as the pick in the SB goes, well if it was an option route that wayne read wrong it sure looked like 18 was throwing a slant route and porter jumped it. Wayne probably did misread it because he wasnt expecting the ball to be there. but porter was.

I was just so tired of the old regime. I knew exactly what offensive and defensive plays were being called on every down.....boring...and I also knew when they wouldnt work...I called Peytons INT in the super bowl that sealed the win for the saints....YEARS of watching the colts run that play to marvin harrhison (and wayne) when they needed a big play.....YEARS.....im sure the saints and porter KNEW it was coming also.......very boring, very one dimensional and it was way too predictable...that is why in my mind, with one of the greatest qb's and two of the greatest pass rushing ends(duo) to ever play the game, we UNDER achieved...for 13 years....with only ONE super bowl win....SEVERE underachieving.

@JohnTemple1 @jettro I was here to read about the colts, and unfortunately saw a bunch of ignorance. NONE of the colts acquisitions or draft picks WILL make a pro bowl within 2 years.....but are the colts improving? well, yes...however, record wise I think they will REGRESS.........@jettro however, I do like the Laron Landry pick up....if he stays healthy..he can bring some much needed swag to our backend and run support. bethea has been operating by himself back there for far too long...

@JohnTemple1 @jettro the world is full of bitter smart folks that THINK they are smarter than the rest but are actually dumb.and conversely, the world is full of ignorant people that think money trumps ignorance..and lastly, there are also millions of people that think making a pro bowl makes you a great player.........and FINALLY, there are men like me that are smart enough to not get bitter at a world that is chocked full of "idiots" blowhards, rich old fucks, and too dumb to care........

@JohnTemple1  huge colts fan here.....I dont see chapman, hughes, or francois capable of pro bowl seasons. chapman and hughes are both rookies who probably wont even play much...jen francois wasnt even a strater on the 49ers, and well franklin, while solid, I dont believe he will see the field more than any of the rest of the names mentioned here as the colts clearly are gonna use lots of rotation.....so franklin wont be able to get the numbers needed to attract pro bowl attention......I think Hughes will ultimately win this job, if he stays out of trouble....he is big and strong and nimble as a mountain lion.
