It seems Dion, after some deep thinking, may have a plan for turning this thing around ... apparently, it involves once again saluting Leaf fans post-game.

I don't have a good read on our overall talent level this year - apart from a few of the big names.  Maybe they think he will be a good 2-way guy.  Either way, it will be a great and valuable development experience for FG. @djamon @HHT

Quinn did many good things for hockey, Toronto and Hockey Canada.  And they should be celebrated.  But he was a %$#!ing awful GM.  Owen Nolan for a 1st, Brad Boyes and Alyn Macauley, anyone?  Quinn would fit right in today- traded a 2nd for Khristich and put Sullivan on waivers.  So of course Khristich crapped the bed and played 80 games.  Second rounder up in smoke.  That was nuts!

Makes sense major roster re-shaping moves are being pondered.  It's great that the Leafs have these spurts where they win and the new additions have been great- but something seems out of whack. And I don't think there's a great amount of confidence another collapse isn't on its way.  @Great Dane

The team's players and management appear to be chasing their tails in yet another season- up against the cap and apparently stuck in every possible way.  That probably may have *something* to do with the level of backlash against these ham-fisted millionaires.
