Understanding the new playoff format, should the season have ended last night, the leafs would be the 8th seed. The 9th place team would be 6 points back. Can anyone verify this... still confused.
As a compassionate person i wish Stamkos well and feel awful for him. However as a leaf fan i say the hockey gods are smiling on us.Tampa Is in our way, in first, we have our share of injuries. The fight for a playoff spot will be fierce. We need the hockey gods on are side, hopefully he or she is a leaf fan.

Can you imagine this team when fully healthy. The Leafs will win the cup this year if healthy im sure of it.

Surprised how little is being talked about the contribution of the Serriff. Colton Orr has been huge for us so far. Talking on Perros twice, knocking him out by pulling him down on the ice, i think he took out the pac man with a huge hit. Then said fuck you to Mr Rosehill, with a how-do-you-do crosscheck to the chin. In my mind Orr is a top player on this team.

@Wilbur @clark sittler Can you imagine our team with Orr, Clarkson, Fraiser, Mclaren, and possible Devane, or Bodie.
Keep in mind people Carlyle is a coach who believes fighting is key to the success of our young team. Frasiers out, Maclerens out, Ashton has a broken nose, hence the Devane call up.
Let me preface my comments by saying with compassion i hope Parros is going to be okay. However the build up of the new Montreal toughness, seeing Parros beat Orr in the first fight, Ashton, getting smoked by Tinordi, what a season changing event seeing Parros out cold, led away by a stretcher, Montreal fans quiet as if they were at Church mourning a loved one. Considering hockey is a mans game and violent, can you imagine our team with Clarkson and the grim reaper Mcleran in the line-up. Injuries are the only road block to the cup this year people. Plan on it.

@Pent_House whos Lewiekies son-in law? hello
@Bobsyouruncle If he scores 10 goals, 35 points or Calgary makes the playoffs its a 3 rd rounder in the 2014 draft

@dlb eh @clark sittler Yes, however i would feel better if Brodie recieved a beat down and Clarkson in the line-up

Does anyone think Carlyle was protecting Leweikes son-in-law(Brodie) from the John Scott beat down? Very costly mistake. Brodie should have been on the ice, not Kessel. Now Clarkson gone for 10.The playoffs are so hard to make this year, could come down to 2 points.
Does anyone think Carlyle was protecting Leiweikes son-in-law(Bodie) from The John Scott beat down? very costly mistake. Clarksons suspension is just a horrible result.

When i listen to Randy Carlyle speak i convinced he is the right coach to lead the Leafs to the promise land. He is gifted, intelligent, well spoken, im so impressed by him. Pat Quinn , Pat Burns and Mr Carlyle all understand a tough team, with skill and speed wins. Injuries and off years are the only roadblocks to the Stanley Cup this year. GO LEAFS GO

Its like Christmas eve people! I cant wait anymore. Tomorrow is the last day of the drought thats Leafs Nation and information. Wednesday is the first day of rookie camp, from there its the Niagra Falls of our beloved Leafs quest to the Stanley cup. Thats right , i said it. Buckle up people the ride to the Stanley cup comes through Toronto. Injuries and off years are the only roadblock, as i really think we have the team to do it. Ive waited long enough for the season to start.I can taste Lord Stanley. GO LEAFS GO.
