Very Happy for Mr. Outlaw! Glad for the "clean slat" approach the coaching staff adopted. Both Cousins and Outlaw have taken full advantage. Go Kings.

Fredette's already showed what he brings. This was another players night to shine.
We've got deep and varied talent at the SG. Most teams would love this luxury. Why are so many wanted Jimmer to leave.
This coaching staff understands what a coup they have. Many weapons, especially when the "best of best", have off nights, are a coaches luxury.

Ya know, given all the Maloofisms, relocation woo's and coaching instability, who else would they put below us.
But our fans, through thick and thin, should have elevated us somewhat. King fans always showed Class, even for opposing teams and players when it's warranted. Considering Raider Nation and that scaring bunch not being family fare that much, you think we could have, at least, been raised above them.
But those things I mentioned above, were probably weighted too much.
No matter. Better days are coming.
2 months, 2 weeks ago on Poll: Are you offended by the Sacramento Kings’ last place finish in ESPN’s annual franchise rankings?
@asharma6 Agree. John has been known for being a very efficient defensemen. And when he is on, he is a driving force on offense. And with his work ethic, unless his age starts catching up with him, he should continue to be effective on the Kings.
Fold in the new coaching culture, I'm sure John will do well this year!
2 months, 3 weeks ago on Poll: Which veteran will step up for the Sacramento Kings?
@rdr2019 I, too, have good vibes for Outlaw. In fact, I believe, the only thing holding back these vets is the amount of time they get on the floor.
Hopefully training camp will turn the coaches heads as to their value and contribution.
YEeaaaaa for everyones return!! Especially Kayte. Loved her spark and enthusiasm. She was truly missed! Great decision by the new organization!
2 months, 3 weeks ago on Kayte Christensen rejoins the Sacramento Kings broadcast team
@Smittking That's Astonishing that he got that many more votes than all others. I like Jimmer and all. He's gotten such a bad deal under "not so smart" and deserves so much more support but this seems almost like it was rigged. Hope not. He is a class guy, though, and maybe it's that too.
3 months, 2 weeks ago on Poll: Who is your favorite Sacramento King?
@Kings fan No sure what you were watching and when but I saw every game. Jimmer going into the lane produced and show plenty of ability and talent. No So Smart, would put him in, in the 4th quarter in a losing game and he'd bring us back to a chance of winning. Then 'not so' would pull him and put in the starters and we'd lose so many times,. It was infuriating!!
3 months, 2 weeks ago on What to do about Jimmer Fredette?
@SSSDMC15 I, SO, Agree!! I sure hope the new coaching staff thinks this way too. At least, give it a season to find out before you start offering him on a plate to who ever we play in the future. His stats are great considering his time given to play.
And just so you know, he was also very good off the ball. Very active to get open. And when he drove to the basket, he had to touch to get the basket and the foul. Imagine with some good descent minutes, what he could do. Such a weapon "not so smart" didn't know how to use.
IT is the Man!
JH: I’ll just say that if I was starting a team, I would choose Jimmer over Thornton. He’s younger, cheaper and can really shoot. But the Kings need a starter for at least the first 40 games. Thornton is a better fit for that situation.
OK. Why? You say all good thing about him but trade him and Thornton is better, Why? Thornton is more of a one trick pony than Jimmer. Thornton is an "inconsistently hot" spot up shooter. So is Jimmer plus he can do it far deeper more consistently. Jimmer moves well. Gets in the paint with dishes and baskets. Excellent shooter all around. Why is Thornton a better fit? Thornton can get hot from long range. Not always. But no better than Jimmer. Again, everyone says his minutes are limited. Is that his fault? That's coaching, not a player stat if you ask me. And since when is Coach Smarts rotations lauded as superior to anything while he was here?
Give him better minutes, He will produce. He produced with limited minutes. I don't see where you guys come off with this logic. He's stats are great for the minutes he's been allowed. Lets see what he can do with more minutes plus this new coaching and culture the Kings now have.
Without reading the article, here's my answer; PLAY HIM!!! Let him be our Kick OUT Threat!! Spreads the floor. And since when don't we need the 3's.
What a Peter!
3 months, 3 weeks ago on Sunday Musings: Chris Hansen breaks bad
@Gary S Gilbert PhD @BMonstaC Yea, I was quite surprised when the Kings let him go along with Toney D. ( D for Defense Extraordinaire). Warriors were wise to pick him up.
But I guess they were thinking they could get bigger, badder and better.
I'd be glad to have Cole back. He looked like he had the goods.
3 months, 3 weeks ago on Cole Aldrich works out for Sacramento Kings
YES!!! I like this. I like Cole's game last year. I think he has a future and I hope he shows it with the Kings. Great Hustle and Motor on this man.

I stopped watching Basketball when Magic retired again for the last time. Jason Williams got me watching again. That kind of Basketball is Amazing!!
3 months, 4 weeks ago on WATCH: Former Sacramento Kings guard Jason Williams can still pass with the best of them
P Pat has the Stats!! Sorry but baskets win games. Defense keeps you in games but points get you W's.
Cowbb - Jimmer should stay put and be our "lights out" shooter. I'm betting Malone could use someone with his ability!

I'm Loving THIS!!!

@al asifyouknow @Mad Dam Alas without Ty.
4 months, 1 week ago on Everybody loves Greivis Vasquez
@al asifyouknow @Mad Dam I hear ya but it's not just the lack of team culture that was getting in the way. How many coaches in the last few years. Move or not gonna move for a couple of seasons. The one year that was condense with a very young rookie team. And still beat playoff teams.
Lost of instability in the franchise for a bunch of rookies to deal with. This year was gonna be different but alas with Ty.
