@Dangle_My_Berries We've got a couple here at work too.  Some women just don't know how to take care of themselves...

Back from my two week vacation on 'The Rock'.  Had an amazing time.  Imagine sitting in a small 28ft open boat, 8 miles from shore among 200-300 humpback whales.  Incredible!!

Now, back to the grind to pay for it all LOL.

Been lurking on here but not posting from my smart phone.

Jays are starting to put it together again.  Hopefully, they can stay within reach of the leaders long enough to get their full line-up back.  Leading 7-0 right now and a win today makes the 5-2 in their last 7.

@-Keon Is this why we have 16 forwards?  Because we don't need as many defensemen anymore?

@Burtonboy @traNsplantEdneWfie @-Keon The estimated weight of a bull moose is 1.6 times the quarters weight.  So, my dad's moose was somewhere around 1800lbs.

I don't mind killing animals for sustenance.  It's the game hunting for sport that I don't care for.

@Burtonboy @-Keon My dad killed one in Newfoundland about 30 years ago that had 32 points.  The quarters were almost 300lbs each.  Biggest one anyone can remember in that area.

1 month, 2 weeks ago on Maple Leafs re-sign Peter Holland to 2-year, $1.55 million deal

Reply

@LeafFan15 The trouble with this value is, if the Leafs were to be sold it would be for much more than $1.15B.  What's funny is that the LA Clippers were just sold for $2B and their worth is much less.  The person who bought that team is pissed.

@B_Leaf If he was 20 lbs heavier he would be in the top 10.  Problem is, no one knows how a "small" guy will translate to the pro's.

NHL culture is changing.  The goon is being forced out by precedents set by winning teams.  Bye bye Orr and Mclaren.  It won't be long before a no-fighting rule is introduced and goes unnoticed.

What's the chances of the Leafs catching lightning in a bottle with any of these additions?  We have such bad luck.  From Berard losing an eye to J Blake getting cancer, we don't have luck on our side.  Think I'm going to have to turn religious and start praying...
