I say keep Manu for a discounted price, keep Tiago if the price is right (Around $6-7mil) probably $8mil because he's nearly 7ft. Then try to add Aminu. 6'9" combo forward. Rebounds well and is a good slasher. Coaching can help improve his outside game. And we need a combo forward so we can play small but still not give up alot of size by having Leonard play PF at 6'7". The 2 best players in the league are LeBron and KD so he can help cover them along with Leonard and Green. And there is a good chance Ryan Richards makes the team during summer camp so that is another 7 footer to play with Duncan. We don't need to sign another big name FA.

@jojo707 I agree with you we need another SF/PF to backup Leonard. I say get Aminu. He's a FA this summer and Spurs coaching would help improve his outside shooting. Plus we can stretch him to the PF when Spurs play small because he's 6'9." If not Aminu get Earl Clark
1 year, 1 month ago on A look at the Spurs salary situation heading into next season
if Manu retires Spurs have about 15 mil to spend to fill our cap space without paying the luxury tax. I say sign Andre Iguodala to a near max contract (roughly about 11+ mil per year). But Spurs still need to fill the rest of the roster spots with international talent + undrafted + and drafted talent. And Spurs are the best at finding players to fit the system for really cheap. With half our bench in FA we are losing alot of depth and chemistry. And we CANNOT trade Bonner he was huge against Memphis and LA. When teams play big against us we have a big in Bonner to spread the floor to pull away a big from the opposing teams basket. Giving Parker and Duncan room to operate. Im iffy about Tiago. He's turnover prone when doubled and his post game is nonexistent. And he can't play 30+ mins a night. If we can sign him for cheap Id take it. His stock went down during the post season so I dont expect many teams to make a hard push for him. I also say we should try to add Al Farouq Aminu (free agent from NO) if we dont get Iguodala. He is a 6'9" SF that can play backup SF behind Leonard and if we play small he can play PF. He can rebound and play good def. We need another wing def because the 2 best players in the game are Durant and LeBron. And the Spurs coaching staff can help improve Aminu's shooting like they did with Leonard and Green.
