@Geoff Z @locohoya once again, you are hurling insults and questioning my intelligence ... that's not the kind of person I want to know ...bye.
1 year, 1 month ago on Audio: Atlanta sports radio station mocks Steve Gleason
@Geoff Z wrong, I presented facts, and you presented religious dogma
well folks, I can tell this
is not the place for intelligent dialogue. You guys seem to just want
to hurl insults at anyone who disagrees with you. Condemning me to hell makes me think you'd be right at
home in Iran or Afghanistan or Germany in the 1930s... I however am out of here. That's all, folks!
@Geoff Z Geoff take your prozac, you're going off the deep end
@barry8905 @locohoya I have children who do watch the show and give me periodic updates. that's how I know! Tone down the belligerence man, I have zero tolerance for intolerant people
@music2013 I do hold him accountable ... I never listen to anything he says
@Geoff Z @locohoya move on, geoff ... I don't agree with you so let's leave it at that
@JimmyFiveFingers @ninahcwel I totally agree Jimmy. God & heaven were created because we mortals want to be immortal
@KeviNmaiden I don't know, since I don't watch South Park, but you may have answered your own question: they make fun of EVERYBODY, not just certain segments of society
Geoff & Barry, I think your comments do a great disservice. If
we wish to express our outrage at the crass and classless comments made
by these two jocks, that is our prerogative. Just because we will go on
with our lives does not mean we won't remember this story tomorrow.
Expressing our feelings today at the very least provides solidarity
against the kind of comments these jerks made. They were likely taken
off the air only after the station received enough outrage from callers,
and the station will think about who they hire as their successors. Or,
if the station chooses to put them back on the air because they decide
it is more profitable to keep them on, it will be with the proviso that
they take care to refrain from making stupid statements. So give the
folks commenting here a little credit. Just because many will still
listen to this station and still buy products from their sponsors does
not mean the station hasn't learned something. It's often by sheer
numbers voicing displeasure that change is effected, whether it be
calling in or just writing on blogs.
@Texag99 good switch ... NPR is so much better
totally agree with "walking a mile ..." I'd like to see them laugh after that
yep I came from planet yahoo
I have endured ridicule because of my cerebral palsy (since shortly after birth) and I can testify that the ridicule is sometimes tougher to swallow than the disease. These guys got what they deserved.
