Between players dancing after touchdowns and tackles when their team is down by 27 points, the trend toward QB's finishing with more rushing yards than the starting RB's, and these stupid Thursday games, my interest in the NFL product wanes year by year. Now they want to add another Thursday game?
Pools & fantasy are the top reasons that the NFL has become so dominant. Thursday games make me less likely to participate in either going forward. By Tuesday I already have to start thinking about the coming weeks games.
Goodell is turning the old axiom "keep them wanting more" over on it's head. To the detriment of the NFL.

Olbermann and just about every one else at ESPN share similar politics. The difference with Olbermann is that he is more arrogant, abrasive and extremist. My problem with Bristol is it's endless identity politics....race, sexual orientation, gender issues hyped ad nauseum, with nary a dissenting view or discussion. Ever. Riley Cooper, Jason Collins, Title XI overkill, even Trayvon Martin, of which numerous network figures found it necessary to tweet their opinions. Wilbon is the worst offender, but KO is likely to surpass him. I want non-partisan, non-agenda opinions, or balanced opinions if and only if they must veer off of sports topics. ESPN needs not be the MSNBC or the FoxNews of sports.

I just think Bristol is a whole lot more concerned with sports related identity politics than the rest of the country. Didn't they just devote a week to the 40th Anniv of Title IX last year. ESPN is preoccupied with gender and race. Enough already.

Will this be a sports centric site with left-wing rants thrown in, or a left-wing blog with masquerading as a sports site? If his Twitter feed is any indication, be prepared to have Gammons' progressive posturing shoved down your throat. I assume most fans would prefer that left or right wing blathering be kept off their "sports" sites.

The ESPN Groupthink on stories from guns, to gays to race is almost an SNL skit come to life. When Jason Collins came out, Sportscenter treated this non-story (who cares about ones sexual orientation) as if it was a Jackie Robinson type moment. Not only were there no voices from ANYONE who had issues with possible locker room uneasiness (such views deserved no forum, per ESPN). And someone like Mike Wallace, for the crime of tweeting jokingly about "not understanding...I love women too much" or something to that effect, he was villified as if he threatened to kill Collins in cold blood. Such is why so many people wish to jump off the Mothershp.

SportsCenter has morphed into unwatchable, agenda driven drivel. Sports has become secondary to groupthink sensationalism, especially regarding non-sports race & sexual orientation issues.
