If Carlyle is consistent then Reims should start. He ran with Bernier when he was hot, so Reims should get the same treatment.

Horrendous is an improvement for Healy

Yeah good summary. But I liked the Game in 10.

That STL rumour is interesting. Still have Pietrangelo and Stewart to
sign. Their budget last year was 50 milliion and they are already at 47.

If there were ever any doubt that Nonis/Burke built that team....

It would have been silly. Rielly alone may be worth more than whoever is available in that slot (Monohan?)
Very good piece. I liked this quote .....
"All but one of the seven players selected that day at the 2006 draft in Vancouver have made it to the NHL, four of those six – James Reimer, Nik Kulemin, Leo Komarov, andKorbinian Holzer – suiting up for the Leafs this past season."

@DJBrianBurke @PeterZeroOne What they call is completely arbitrary, No rhyme or reason to it -and these are supposed to be the best refs!

@Loric76 Where is this Scuderi stuff coming from?

@Cameron19 Has Ranger indicated a willingness to return to the NHL? I liked what I saw from Blacker so I wouldn't be surprised if he made the team.
@-Keon- @wyatt956 @Pent_House @WatsonB I take it back. We should trade Phaneuf for an undersized centre who has never been in the playoffs.
5 months, 2 weeks ago on <!--:en-->Leafs Acquire Jonathan Bernier from Kings<!--:-->
@Pent_House @WatsonB @-Keon- Exactly. The kind of centre that disappears in the playoffs.
@Eye of the Tiger No. Phaneuf has a better all-round game.
@TheColborneUltimatum Biggs is not much of a scorer. Frattin was dominating in the AHL playoffs and always had 20-25 goal potential.
I don't really see anybody on the Marlies who can replace him - not Biggs, not D'Amigo, not Mckegg. It's really not a deep group of forwards. It's the D-men who have potential.
@canuckintheuk @wyatt956 @mcloki Frattin can be a physical player when he wants to be. McKegg isn't.
I was not impressed when I saw McKegg with Marlies. To be fair to him, it was his first year, but he looks like a fringe NHL at best IMO.
@mcloki Who is the replacement for Fratttin in the Marlies? I don't see anybody with that particular skill set there
@DWCMLHS I agree. I don't get it. Admittedly I like Frattin more than our coach I think.
But he skates so well. Nobody circles the net (without the puck, doing nothing in particular) like Seguin
