@ksmorin Kate - thanks for your reply and thanks for the addition.  Unfortunately there are so many people with un-diagnosed gluten intolerance who do not realize that their symptoms might be gluten related but at least if we keep putting the flag out there eventually some might be alerted to the fact that they might have issues with wheat.

I look forward to seeing what you have in the pipeline.

In a post where you credit whole grains with reducing the occurrence of chronic health conditions it would have been better if  you had at least mentioned that a large % of the population may have gluten sensitivity or celiac disease and people should rule that out before eating whole grain versions of pasta or pasta at all.  A caveat or warning that if people started experiencing symptoms of any of the more than 200 conditions that have been linked to wheat consumption, and particularly the whole grain versions, that they get tested would have been a useful paragraph.  In addition, your claim regarding reducing cardiovascular disease has been called into question in more recent studies than the ones you referenced and a book called Wheat Belly by Dr. William Davis, Cardiologist.

Another example is airbnb.com - they got some bad PR around a theft from one of their hosts but ultimately it was well handled and resulted in an amazing growth ramp.  When we host guests we always ask where they heard about airbnb and it has been interesting with everything from CNN to blogs about startups.

It probably sounds like a cop-out but I don't get much time to read books and when I have I've tried to catch up on the health/healing books I've been lining up. I loved Deep Nutrition. I was playing the Oprah interview with Steve Tyler while I was trying to get through some CES stuff last week and he mentioned energy so I was interested to see what he wrote about it but Google Books didn't have it in the excerpt. I really would like to read the Steve Jobs bio - did you enjoy it? What do you think about Apple's chance of keeping on their stellar trajectory without him?

Too funny - I had just been reading an excerpt from Steven Tyler's book and he references Stephen Hawking where he talks about women.

What a timely post for me - I was just thinking I really need to put some time in to keyword research but didn't really know where to begin so thank you!! Spinsucks is just getting better and better and producing solid, valuable content.

You have hit the nail on the head! I've been finding myself spending less and less time on twitter - a natural attrition because of what you have identified. Today for example I had 3 @ Mentions from Spam accounts - that's just plain annoying!

Totally get the "I have always loved you, but sometimes I didn’t like you." one. I hope my daughter regards me as fondly as you do your Mom when she is all grown up. Every day I feel like I am giving her reasons to say "Sure I love you Mom, but right now I really don't like you."
