@I Am PFP And So Can You @0ptimus Little League rules.  6 inning games, pitchers have an innings cap per week.  Done.

@Mike Petriello @Still Bleeding Blue I also watched a lot of Braves games during that time period.  Pace wasn't really an issue when Maddux or Glavine were pitching.

@Mike Petriello @Still Bleeding Blue Heh, this is where I lose out on being too young to really remember much of that period.

@Mike Petriello @Still Bleeding Blue Yeah, that's a good point.  I don't know that you can improve the game's pace if you're allowing more offense.  I suppose it could be more exciting if you combine it with other changes that allow more gameplay during the time spent, though.

It's also interesting that the MLB wants to speed up the game, but they also want more offense.  Hint: one does not lead to the other.

This is the new thing.  Suggest some really outrageous stuff during the first term on your new job to set the bar really low, then when you don't do those things, people will be really happy.

@Disgruntled Goat @Still Bleeding Blue No actual pitching either.  Just put the ball on a tee and let the hitters do their thing.

@Disgruntled Goat Managers setting lineups is also a competitive advantage!  We should just make the players bat in order of positions, 1-9

@OSaltyOne @Still Bleeding Blue @BehindOrangeLines @DBrim Yup, I'll take it.  Only worry is that his poor coaching will not help develop the handful of our young players with potential.

@BehindOrangeLines @DBrim @Still Bleeding Blue My "favorite" Byron Scott moment was when Kobe tore his rotator cuff and Byron put him back in the game even though it was clear he couldn't use his right arm.

@Diane. I am unpopular. embrace it Gotta stay away from small planes on domestic flights tho.  Less experienced pilots (usually) and the things are like leaves in any sort of strong cross wind.  Seriously, one of my flights into Seattle, the plane was oscillating between 30 degrees tilt in each direction during descent.

@juanhenry The main difference is the role that player development plays in baseball.  Generally for the other leagues (especially basketball), you know from the draft whether a player will make it or not.
