I'm just excited that we had a bandwagon for people to jump off, it's been a while...

First year he was still on his rookie deal. Last season was the first of his 4/54M contract. We gave him that contract after his extremely impressive first year with us, scoring over 180 points in 9 whole games. Remember?

It's a shame we spend all this money on the guy and he does absolutely nothing to earn it in the first year, here's hoping he's worth 54M over 3 years instead...

How bad is this: I just clicked to preorder the jersey on the pelicans site and when I started scrolling through the options, got a shock when I saw Gordon's jersey available. It wasn't his jersey being available to buy that shocked me - I kind of just forgot he still played for us.

Parsons will never be on the table, don't get too excited by that idea.

This is great Dru! Now can we get a compilation of every Austin Rivers free throw made from the 2012/13 season?

Iggy has to be the guy, if we can get him to sign within our budgetary constraints this move is a no-brainier. Interestingly, none of the teams he's meeting with today are in big markets or even competitive. Besides Denver we are probably his best bet at short-term success, and have the most enticing young core, but it's all about the $$$ in the NBA...

Your both right about Korver, but this is a great analysis of what Korver would bring to the club, I'm really liking this series. Keep it up guys

I'm interested to see if the Pels resume talks with GSW about swapping Klay for EJ. I'm assuming they would want us to take back Richard Jeffersons 11M (1 year) deal to make it work financially, but he could possibly provide us with a stop gap at the 3 spot. We'd then have the flexibility to go after a center this offseason plus 11M off the books next year to fill in around the edges. Could kill a few birds with one stone, thoughts?

All I know is that our chances at winning the 2013 summer league tournament took a huge hit tonight and I'm not sure this franchise can come back from that...

@504ever One thing I know about McLemore is that he endured severe poverty growing up, and I'm pretty sure that's a big reason why he moved schools a bunch. There are red flags for all of these players, but we don't know enough about his background to make a decision on whether or not he's someone we should stay away from.

It looks like Otto Porter in this years tournament will be the Damian Lillard of last years 10th pick tournament. We all wanted him last year, but he didn't stick around long enough for us to actually draft him.

I'll do backflips if Porter, McLemore or Oladipo are still sitting there at 6.

Can't get enough of Gerry V's analysis, hope to hear him back on the podcast before the draft.

I've voted for Cody, but there were a few things missing from this article that probably would have gotten people a little more excited about him as a prospect.

The combination of his college numbers and his off-the-chart athletic testing makes Cody a can't miss prospect in a draft class like this.

Probably wouldn't hurt to mention that he was the fastest player at the combine and his leaping numbers were the highest recorded by any player taller than 6'9 in combine history. Pretty exciting stuff!
