I have never seen Holland play before last night and I only saw the third period last night so until I watch the game later tonight, I can't comment on his play.
I think Ashton is going to be more suitable on the 4th line and Holland becomes our 5th C once we are healthy.

I didn't see the first two periods so not sure what happened to Fraser. Any more news on whether he aggravated the same knee or is it another lower body injury ?
I assume that Holland is still waver exempt ?
We are on pace for 102 points which we will gladly take at the end of the year.
Sure would be nice to squeeze out a W against the Isles and then start a new streak with Kadri and hopefully Bozak returning.
Healy is such an idiot saying Reimer got caught deep in his net..... he was at the top of the crease.

Not sure if this was already posted.
Connor Brown padded his stats and the Erie Otters won their 11th straight game in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday.
Brown scored a hat trick, giving him an OHL-leading 34 points in 16 games, to lead the Otters past the Niagara IceDogs 6-0.

@Ryan @Jantz @theacs1966 Yeah I noticed that......... he finally showed up once they were down by a TD.

@theacs1966 @Jantz So much talent up front on that team. I have to assume there is no chemistry at all on that team. I noticed when we beat them that Simmonds was acting all sucky after missing a few chances....... I remember thinking that i wouldn't like that from one of our players.
I hate the Flyers.
@Zep2 You know Bolland will be licking his chops, I expect a big game from him tonight. Gotta have a win tonight to carry us through until Friday.
Fire your coach - check
make a trade - check
The Flyers sitting @ 3-9 with 20 goals scored - priceless
10 years since we beat the Canucks......... that ends tomorrow !
@CanuckUKinToronto @Knights2Leafs That is exactly how I would play it. As good as Kadri is with the top line, I get excited about him potentially playing with Lupul and Clarkson. Also Raymond-Bolland-Kulemin on the 3rd line.

@CanuckUKinToronto @Jantz Holy shit....... how'd he get that much PK time. I thought i saw that Calgary was 0-5 on the PP. Our top 6 is so dangerous and once Bozak and Kulemin come back, our top 9 will be as good as almost any team in the league and we still have come nowhere close to playing our best yet.
Only saw the first period. I will re watch the beginning as Cuthbert said the Flames had 6 shots after about 1:45 into the game. I know we didn't play great but I'm pretty sure the shot clock guy had an itchy finger.
Also JvR had 7 more minutes of ice time then Kessel.......... that seems odd. Other than some extra PK for JvR, I can't figure that one out after not seeing the last 2 periods.
@dfgsdfg I remember McCowan saying on the Fan590 either last year or the year before when Dubnyk had a great start to the season and the Oilers were close to or leading the West that he would pick the Oilers D over the Leafs. Not surprising because the man knows natta when it comes to hockey.
1 month, 1 week ago on What’s Dion Phaneuf Worth?
@Xxxxxnew It was Gagne and that is a prime example of why the Oilers suck. So lackadaisical.
@Bring the Cup Home Even more than questionable for Franson as he has struggled somewhat this season especially after his first few games when he played great considering how much camp he missed. Last night he was the least impressive D.
As for Phaneuf, the haters will never acknowledge his improved play. I give up trying to convince people.
@Alec Brownscombe 10 likes in 3 minutes must be a record on here.
@ReimNier @Alec Brownscombe No doubt just 40 posts from Fenton comparing last season's first half to second half for Phil and how inconsistent he is.
