@Moderately Excited Towel I think he has upside. Besides if we sign a lot of injury plagued pitchers hopefully at least 2 will stay healthy

I hope we re-sign Chad Billingsley
@Catfishin he looks so weird in a Padres jersey
@NoHitWin2008 for 2014, mlb has him at 18
@PagansOedipalComplex @brincon @666foldamort i agree
@PagansOedipalComplex @brincon @666foldamort I like Kendrick and he's definitely better than Gordon but Heaney is a top 20 prospect in all of MLB
@666foldamort I undertand trading for Kendrick but I still don't understand trading Heaney for 1 year of Kendrick
So I was only half paying attention to a news headline yesterday. All I heard was Hall of Famer Vin Scully and lose. I thought it was something bad and had a mini heart attack. Good thing it was just that he misplaced his World Series ring.
@CeeBeast @brincon @ALVX Padres have traded so many catchers. They should've at least kept one of their good defenders. Norris is not a good defender.
@SabrDodgers health of the rotation
@CeeBeast @brincon @ALVX so Federowicz is really the Padres back up catcher?
@CeeBeast @brincon @ALVX really? I thought the Padres signed him. Nvm lol
@ALVX since when is Myers a 1B? Plus Padres have Yonder Alonso and 3 catchers in Derek Norris, David Ross, and Tim Federowicz. I believe Federowicz is out of options so it wouldn't surprise me if they played Norris at 1B sometimes. I doubt Myers plays any 1B.
Padres OF defense is gonna be bad next year especially if Kemp plays CF lol
@Pimparoo (formerly Harry T) where can you find it?
4 months ago on Dodgers-Padres trade being held up by Matt Kemp’s arthritic hips
@Uncultured Bastard that means exit in german
Rays should move to Miami right now so that the Cubs can beat Miami in the 2015 World Series like it was predicted in Back to the Future part 2
@Still PFP Honolulu
@DiamondDirtbag @brincon hi
@Still PFP even if Kemp didn't have his arthritic hips, I would think this trade was better for the long term specifically for the catching position. This trade fits in with the philosophy of the new regime being good both now and in the future.
@Still PFP Kemp staying after all this is not good. Plus I think trading Kemp now is definitely better in the long term.
@juanhenry my point being that they're smart about replacing great players that they sell
4 months ago on Dodgers DFA Brian Wilson, make Brandon McCarthy official
@juanhenry Athletico Madrid churns out strikers like it's nothing. They were able to replace Falcao, Aguero and Diego Costa and still be competitive
@juanhenry they were able to replace Falcao and other great players before so I'm not surprised
@internet baseball fan potato friend @juanhenry De Gea I think is in the best form in the world right now. I still think Neuer is the best in the world.
@Still PFP @brincon @itsthatguywhodoesstuff Ned Colletti and the guy from Weekend at Bernies
@itsthatguywhodoesstuff @Still PFP mine too!! i especially enjoyed the dodger look a likes section.
@DodgerLivingInWeHo get a new laptop
@Dustin Nosler @brincon @DBrim do they have good pitching prospects cause I would think they wouldn't trade Cashner or Ross?
I like the Matt Joyce trade for the angels
@DBrim you'd think that the Padres would want more hitting right?
So my Cubs fan friend sent me this earlier. It's pretty funny and it goes with the beatles motif from earlier

remember when all 3 of our OFs had the name Jason?
My friends and I used to sit in the LF pavilion close enough to be able to see the players in the bullpen. Randomly we just started talking to Aaron Sele and we told him how thirsty we were haha. He asked us if we had a cup and he ended up giving us water from the bullpen. We didn't even drink it. We treated it like holy water. It didn't help that it looked kinda funky though.
@TellMyWifeISaidHello @Disgruntled Goat My favorite player is AJ Ellis
I got Juan Castro's autrograph at an autograph signing in top deck when he was a rookie
@ALVX I was there too! The emotion of that game got to me so much that I got tears in my eyes when they won that game. I'm not sure why it happened for that game cause it hasn't really happened for any other game. Maybe is was because of how improbable that win was.
@itsthatguywhodoesstuff @brincon yah it was that game. You have a good memory!
My favorite memory attending a Dodger game:
It was August of 2008 so Manny was in the middle of his ridiculous hot streak. The Dodgers were playing the Brewers at 1pm on a Sunday so it was ridiculously hot. Manny comes up with a runner on in the bottom of the 1st. My friend says to me that if Manny hits a home run right here that he would immediately go and buy a Manny wig and wear it the whole game. Sure enough, on the next pitch Manny slams a home run to left center. Needless to say that my friend was true to his word and wore that wig the whole game even though he was sweating like pig. This is why I love going to games even although not necessarily day games in the middle of summer.
@Purple Drank @LiterallyPFP wasn't that when the dodgers came back from like a 4 run deficit against the giants in the bottom of the 9th?
@Weston T @TheConman I remember where I was as well. I was eating at the Hooters hotel in Vegas lol
@juanhenry i believe any stat with + in it always has a league average of 100
I'm bored. Where are all the trades?!!
@LiterallyPFP aren't they sending the Phillies Eflin and Windle?
@666foldamort plus Grandal isn't even arbitratin eligible yet
