My biggest beef with Bone is that we are 3-11 vs gonzaga and ye combined with him as head coach.

I'd really like the blog to go on too. This is easily my favorite WSU sports website.

I agree about the overconfidence part. Not to generalize, but all the BYU fans I have seen/ heard sound like real prats.

Thanks for checking the facts.

Talking to Cal fans, they always hate playing WSU in Pullman because the game is closer than they would prefer ex. 2010. Expectations aren't always in wins and losses. --Also, Home field is always helpful especially to a young/struggling team. Do you think we would have won the 2008 apple cup if it was in seattle? probably not.

I respect your opinion though. Try to have a nice weekend :)

Our schedule is pretty favorable this year though. Cal never plays to expectations in pullman and having the apple cup at home is always helpful. I think we start the season 4-0, split with OSU and cal, split with ASU and UCLA and win the apple cup to finish 7-5.

On  April 23rd through May 2 there is a vote on gamedayvote.com to bring the espn gameday crew to Pullman to film one of their commercials.  Spread the word!

On the bright side, the "f*** the huskies chant could be interesting if we have enough students to start it.

Aron Baynes will always be my favorite. I will always remember his breakaway steal/dunk and he is 100% from beyond the arc at WSU.

I can't argue with Wulff going for the tie. Hindsight is 20/20, but i remember at the game I was overjoyed just for the tie since our play didn't really deserve it. (4 interceptions and Huge special teams breakdowns)

I agree that play calling was terrible. Any great WSU team from the past has a beast QB who wasn't afraid to chuck it down field. ex. Gesser, Leaf (by the way, I am loving 596 switch) Jack Thompson, Bledsoe, and Brink (What the hell. not great team but decent overall.).

The alumni didnt help any either though. Sitting the whole time and being ridiculously quiet... Butch and the CMB were the only good parts of this game. Did you see Butch actually conduct a song in the stands? Classic!

"With all that is going wrong right now, to what extent might it be possible for us to maybe, just maybe, Make Luck Suck?" You can't lead into a post with a question like this and then not address it. Instead, you give blame to coach Ball for UCLA loss, and not even mention Luck or how to stop him. I give this post and 'I' for incomplete.

We were so much faster then them too. Some our run plays really only worked because we outran them to the sideline to cut up field. Will we be able to do this against a fast team like UCLA or CAL? I dont know. I like the speed I saw though.

If Lobestael shows he has gotten better and can win games, do we redshirt Tuel if his injury lingers to 8 weeks? Can Wulff afford to redshirt Tuel?

So theoretically, if he takes 7 weeks to recover (It could be 5 or 6, he is no doubt being given the best medical care in pullman) He would miss these games:

#of recovery weeks Game that week

1 UNLV

2 SDSU

3 BYE

4 CU

5 UCLA

6 Furd

7 OSU

8 UO

So on the short end, he could be back in time for Stanford, but if he could play for the Stanford Game, we should still just wait for OSU. I still think we have a decent chance at having 3 or 4 wins by the time tuel comes back. Then he can come back to give us possible wins at CAL UTAH and UW.

Cal maybe probably

ASU probably not

Utah probably

UW We WILL score in 30s.

I have been wondering why some people think we will be close to bowl eligible. I understand we have been getting better and that our games were much closer at the end of last year, but we still only won one of those games down the stretch. What sort of advantage did we gain this off season that will give us the extra touchdown or two that will put us in W territory?
