These look like great books...never even heard of them until now. So good to see books that teach young boys important lessons, like caring for family and doing the right thing.

Great post Julia! I'm a firm believer that the rest of Canada should follow Quebec's lead and make it mandatory to have winter tires on your vehicle in winter. I wouldn't drive without them in the winter any more. All-season tires just don't make the cut vs real snow tires. I'm proud to be a fellow Sailun Tires Ambassador, and feel good knowing I'm winter-ready with my Sailun Ice Blazers!

Love these tips, Gini! Thanks for sharing them. I'm focusing on using my own images for my blog so I will definitely keep these ideas in mind. Love the idea of white/negative space - hadn't really thought about that before, but it sure is eye-catching.
Great poem...very inspiring! I like the way he speaks it and you can tell he is passionate about living in a toxic-free world. Like it alot - very different from a lot of the other "green" messages out there. Now I'm off to Google him :)

LOVE these videos, Gini! My faves are definitely the prancing lady and the Will Smith one (oh the memories!). They both make me giggle every time I watch them. Have to say I think it's great that the big guy has the confidence to do that dance in a speedo. Just had to come read your blog after seeing you at Social Capital Conference yesterday. Your talk was so inspiring and, not only did I learn so much from you, you also confirmed to me that I'm already doing some things right. Thanks for coming to Ottawa!!
