i love you hockey
Not the worst imo....

no such thing as a non-physical #93
how bad they want Phaneuf, Lupul and no Richards?
i smell an Abbott for Cramarrossa deal with ANA
to LA: Lupul, Phaneuf
to TOR: Richards, Toffoli, 1st(2015), 2nd(2015) ... this is the one we send to COL, keep ours
to COL: JVR, Gardiner, Bozak, Franson, 1st(2015)
to TOR: O'Rielly, MacKinnon
it has potential.
but it just has to be done right.
don't do it because you believe in this group. do it because you don't. (but you do believe in the 21 and unders)
no not yet.
if Richards can still play, perhaps he was sent down to create a little Phanuef room for LA.
if Richards can still play, while the term and dollars are bad, he's still a player i would be ok with having on the team when we bring up the likes of Nylander and Leivo and Brown.
CAP can be manipulated when the time is right.
if Nonis is interested, then i hope it's for a rebuild purpose, not an add to this core purpose. he could usher out some things we don't need, bring in Richards and good things instead and make Rielly the cornerstone.
i can agree with that well enough. but that doesn't really excite me, even though more is better.
realistically, of all those players listed, how likely are they to be better than Holland, Kadri or Bozak?

nah, that's photoshopped
so...then sign him in the summer

no worries, they'll screw it up

be careful. if too many slide to this side of the teeter-totter the other end will go up and the Leafs will start that dreaded winning streak
i like Marner, i like the way he plays

watch that shift again, but this time pretending you're a Devil's fan. how do you like their players reaction to everything? looks like JVR and Gardiner defending. "oh shit, i'm supposed to be over there. oh no, that's my guy. ok, i'm in my zone doing my job oh geez where did that guy come from, man that pucks moves fast"
i have enjoyed watching him improve, he is figuring it out a little more each time out
i will enjoy watching him figure out how to finish
1 day, 22 hours ago on Game 50 Scoring Chances: Coyotes 3 vs. Maple Leafs 1
yup, and instead of Seguin vs Kessel we'll be pitting MacKinnon against McDavid
i give up. i followed the link. yes it is Matthews. thanks.
Franson for a 1st(2015)
Lupul for a conditional 1st/2nd(2015)
Santorelli for a 2nd(2015)
Winnik for a 2nd/3rd
Booth for a 3rd
they'll be late round picks probably, so not as sexy as they sound, and perhaps more likely than they sound
JVR to NYI for Strome and Pulock
to COL: Strome, Pulock, Bozak, Kessel, Gardiner, 1st(2015)
he's a bull, who keeps improving month to month
my guess is he feels for Horacheck, feels for a few of the players who he likes and is pulling for them, and is relaxed.
Strome, MArner, Crouse, Rantanen are players i've either liked or seen/heard good things about from good sources. and the players ranked ahead of Rantanen have to be worth a look since this is Bob's list. so, if we can't get as high as a 5th overall pick, maybe there's another Nylander-level player in our future still.
and if we could somehow turn Bozak, Franson, Winnik, Santorelli and Booth into a couple of late1st rounders and some late 2nd and 3rd rounders, then have a look...
oh so you think you know best now too eh?
based on this latest information, i don't think you are
the law? or the people who know best?
you should go to law school
someone posted a video yesterday.
there are always a lot of guys like this in each draft. it would be great any year to have 3 first round picks.
i hope this year we actually do that.
here's a reality check for you
(after reading the title i assumed one thing, then when seeing who was what i wondered...does that change some people feel differently about it?)
is it Auston Matthews?
haha. yup. i remember Horachek not calling one the other night that cost us too, and i remember you not mentioning that.
i had to. as therapy. i had to know why.
i wanted to see what it looked like as a BOS fan to see if it felt well-earned or not.
geez. did you see them last night? they're a terrible hockey team.
if their goalie suddenly turns into a stud again and their PP stays hot, then maybe they can play .500 or so. but they're sheet.
you know, though, that once the trade deadline passes and the pressure of making the playoffs or getting traded is off the table, this collection of players will be at their best, right?
we'll go down to a 4th overall spot, then we'll march right back up to 14th before it's over
i think the team has just made bad decisions on those trades. the idea wasn't wrong.
you're typically drafting goalies outside the first round, so your franchise goalie typically comes in spite of things.
the best goalies we've had lately have been UFAs (Cujo, Eagle), not draft picks. Fuhr served his purpose, Puppa too. i dunno. i think they were just bad decisions.
maybe look at our scouts, and maybe look at too much pressure from someone to force something to happen that wasn't really what the GM wanted.
i'm remembering MacArthur avoiding blocking a couple of shots, i remember Grabovski trying to create a scoring opportunity by himself from behind BOS's net instead of eating clock and waiting for a line change, i remember JVR not chipping a puck in deep and turning it over at the blue line.
i don't have to revise what happened. it happened. unlike some who couldn't stomach watching it again, i rewatched that series at least a dozen times.
1 day, 23 hours ago on Game 50 Scoring Chances: Coyotes 3 vs. Maple Leafs 1
there was a lot of media talk back then about a team needing a bonafide starter and that they were worth a lot, blah blah blah. our poor rookie GM could have hit the jackpot with Toskala, but he didn't.
nowadays it's all about the 1C, just like we had the "you have to draft a franchise player" and all the other yearly trends.
i suspect, with no knowledge of it, that Rask's personality was a factor, Pogge being a Canadian junior hero might have helped.
Bernier. no idea.
i get that, but when it happened and i thought about simply plugging Clarkson and Bolland into that lineup that took BOS to 7 games (taking MacArthur and Grabovski out), i still think it would have won us that series. those two guys we dumped vanished when we needed them most. one hid, the other zoned out.
but i agree with the principle of what you're saying. and good decisions need to be made.
it's not Carlyle's system and it never was.
seriously though, it's about picking the right guys to move and the right guys to keep now.
the return is a lot less important to me than choosing properly.
Kadri hasn't bothered me, even if he hasn't been great. he still has the ability and he's not a dummy like some of the other guys, and he'll get involved physically.
i think he's being dragged down by the lame brains. i think he wants to strut but there's to much weight on his shoulders.
i'd say he should follow Polak's lead and join "that crew", but Polak hasn't been playing lights out lately either so it's tough to hitch your wagon to anything right now...so, in a way, i think it's a good thing if he's looking inwards to find a solution.
oh no, not Elisha! please no God no, not her. no no no.
to fix it, the players and people around the team have to stop thinking "it is what it is" and just put an end to it.
i hope it continues to spiral in a bad way. i want to blow it up or see some one these players evolve into winners. nothing in between will satisfy me now
and even though Lupul's got his back to the half-naked girl, i suspect that's still his hand on her hip...(well, not quite her hip)
but he looks happy :)
we've played against two of the weakest teams in the league. consider who Phanuef normally lines up against, then...well, who is the top line on eaither of those teams even???
