@wiski @PeterZeroOne thx
@Bon Scott was a Leaf fan yup this is BS, who cares about baseball
Anyone else annoyed with this Sportsnet 1 bullshit? I have SN but not SN1, now I'm stuck watching fucking baseball.
@mcloki dishonor for Connor!

wasn't Percy the one with concussion issues in Junior? Or am I thinking of someone else? Hope he's ok.
I'm drinking and it's just the preseason...
bring on the Dishonor for Connor!
@Radar O'Rielly I know, the first period was really good, wtf happened?

I guess we won't even get a decent effort from the group to close out the season.
@Shift_Disturber1 @rockydundas@Wilbur which is why it's so depressing that Clarkson's signed until 2020
6 months, 2 weeks ago on Game Review: Game #79, Toronto Maple Leafs 2 vs Winnipeg Jets 4
@Wilbur @PeterZeroOne@Reversethecurse13 If the team had made the playoffs, I would have agreed on the Grabbo talk moratorium. But here we are. So every move that Nonis made should be questioned.
@Reversethecurse13 Raymond was a low-risk move. He cost nothing in terms of assets and he didn't work out. Now, if Raymond is back, then I'll blame Nonis, but it was interesting to try him. Clarkson is a mistake because it's a big chunk of cap space. and more importantly it meant that Grabbo was bought out with no return. I think this team, without Clarkson and Raymond, and with Grabbo would be much better.
@mikeshaver Is that the best Cousin Nonis could come up with him to say?

@CanuckUKinToronto is anyone on this board at the game right now? Please start a "Fire Carlyle" chant, k thkx
take away MayRay, Franson and Carlyle and that's worth a few points in the standings right there
@loomx I'm laughing my ass off at this
@mcloki yup that was the season right there
@B_Leaf @TuckerForPunishment yeah, that whole part of the 2nd period where the Leafs were hemmed in their own end, which eventually led to the penalty and hence the go-ahead goal for the Jets.... that's not Reimer's fault.
@Shift_Disturber1 Carlyle needs to go for sure, maybe No-no too
6 months, 2 weeks ago on @SharkClubDundas Game Day: Game #78, Bruins at Maple Leafs
@Knights2Leafs Nonis's spokesman Dreger says Carlyle won't be fired... unfortunately
@mcloki this the pick we're gonna get this year, is that what you're referring to?
still no sustained pressure for the Leafs in the offensive zone...
@DJGLENN22 too bad Philly's down by one right now tho...
Yup, a bit pointless when its all said and done
6 months, 3 weeks ago on @SharkClubDundas Game Day: Game #76, Red Wings at Maple Leafs
I'm at this game right now and it sucks. I'm gonna try to geta fire Carlyle chant started
I like your optimism!
GO LEAFS GO!!!!!!
@Pent_House @Jmessih would anyone else feel that the Marlies would do a better job tomorrow vs. what's effectively the Grand Rapids Griffins?
6 months, 3 weeks ago on @SharkClubDundas Game Day: Game #75, Maple Leafs at Flyers
@CanuckUKinToronto I hope they don't trade Kadri, that would be short sighted
@mikeshave CLAP! CLAP! CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!
I'm going to the game tomorrow. I'm gonna do my best to get a "Fire Carlyle" chant started if the results are similar.
I wonder if the leafs should play the trap. Might be effective in front of a good goalie like Bernier

@MikeGartner11 @PeterZeroOne yeah, I know eh? I'm not looking forward to that game either.

Man, I'm pissed. I've got tickets to the Detroit game on Saturday, a rare treat for myself. I was expecting to go to the ACC with the Leafs in playoff position, with a good atmosphere. Instead, I'm gonna get this.
@Belfour20/JB-45 yup, I'm tired of watching them get outplayed like this. it was fun for a while when the goalie was stopping everything, but that had to end eventually
@loomx I hope that blaming Reimer isn't what saves Carlyle's bacon. I have faith however, that Leiweke will keep Nonis on a short leash. Leiweke will want heads to roll. He fired a fairly new coach or manager at TFC, I can't remember which one it was.
7 months ago on @SharkClubDundas Game Day: Game #73, Maple Leafs at Devils
@Pent_House naturalnie, kurwa
@mcloki yup, they were a nice thought for a while
@loomx @Jordan29 agreed, this team with better coaching and minus Franson could be better than this years. Hopefully with a healthy Bolland to boot.
@Reversethecurse13 @Jordan29 yup, I think this team can be taught to play a better possession based game. Carlyle's 3 line system has been an issue, so hopefully a competent 4th line, or better yet, a healthy, competent bottom six will make a difference next year. Plus, Rielly and Gardiner will be better next year, and hopefully the brain trust cuts bait with Franson and we upgrade there.
@dlb eh I disagree. I think if we fail to make the playoffs, Leiweke's not gonna let a loser mentality hang around his franchises for too long; he'll put pressure on Nonis to fire Carlyle.

@Anthony Petrielli @Reversethecurse13 yup, they play tonight against the Sharks, speaking of which, go Sharks
7 months ago on Shark Club Game Day: Game #72, Canadiens at Maple Leafs
@mr_hanie yup, that last one was the difference in this game for sure. That fourth goal is the difference between a regulation loss and at least an overtime loss, picking up valuable points.
Reimer unfortunately doesn't seem well suited to the backup role; he needs to be playing steadily to stay hot. If I were the Leafs, I'd trade him and pick up a veteran this summer as the backup.
