@GiveGartneraCup We need a REAL old fashioned Goon. A guy who will make you fear life if you touch one of our finesse players.

@jmacwilli I have to say, this is a breath of fresh air. Thats what i keep saying. We pay these guys a TON of money and keep bringing in 30 something year old guys or older. Maybe we should sign Jagr again right? lol
From the bottom of my heart I am saddened by this. I hope that he can eventually resume his career but like others have said obviously they are all prone to this sort of injury. Maybe the medical field should look into why these fellows (although built like monsters) are so prone to concussions.

@queensbee @momentsfade thanks.
I feel like a lot of people are missing the one important part of a hockey franchise. We have very little chemistry. Things keep changing, and regularly. I don't think anyone has the right to blame Torts alone. He was a good coach he made the game more intense through his regular use of the "f" word on live cable tv. The problem is we are all looking for another 1994 team, but you have to look really hard at it. That team had character like we will never find again. You could go all day looking at each player and being like, "holy shit remember that guys antics". Or, "wow what an under rated player". You can changes coaches, players, gm's whatever, but at the end of the day, we need to build a team that plays together for a little while before we burn any single human being on the stake. Oh one other point, so are we saying that the rangers players are having a hard time with a coach who is abrasive and strong willed? Wow, pussification of the NHL continues onward.
