@JoeSmith exactly...and good to hear you are doing well...that is a very serious thing to happen and you are among the few that survive such an event!

@betweentheworlds @I Am Sean's Ruptured Spleen Highsight is 20/20.... anyone can criticize the medical staff all they want but if he wasn't hurt at all, no one would be saying anything. Its hanks life and he should have said that he doesn't feel right, but if he is saying he is fine a couple minutes after getting hit...i don't think the medical staff could have gotten lundqvist off that ice even if they wanted to.
These players are constantly taking bad hit and shots off of bad parts of the body every single game, its up to the players to report their symptoms and then the medical staff can make a good decision. Cant go sitting everyone out "just in case."
Like eberle taking a puck off his head the other game, he could have easily had a serious problem resulting from that, but their medical staff isn't sitting him out and getting ct scans done before letting him play again.
I know the medical staff had developed a bad name for themselves in the past...but JMK8363 is right... medicine is really complicated...im sure when your children were playing and fell and bumped their head or something you didnt rush them to the hospital and they turned out to be fine...but that one kid that ends up having a internal bleed...then everyone is saying what a shitty parent that parent is.
@ATCRyan @J_CKfor30 @Gorangers0525 I believe these guys don't even have the mentality of being individuals and even as the goalie Talbot is referring to himself and the team when he talks about giving up chances....i really don't think he meant it like, "yea i played good but those other guys need to be better"
Its pretty crazy...years ago...even last year i was always criticizing stepan and didnt feel he was that great of a player....this year i realize how important he is to the team so much so that him being out tonight makes me feel like that hurts us big time
@cb1 i agree....how is a medical staff or coach supposed to feel that something is serious if the player is telling them he's fine ... medicine is 90% of what a patient tells you and how they feel. Its hockey and you have players that will tell you they are fine until it gets serious and they realize maybe they should get checked out...i don't see anything wrong with this situation

@KevinMccarthy No reason it should end his career, they do surgery, reattach it and after a 4-8 weeks of rest for repair he should be back at it
@Bleed_the_freak i think pens got a stick on the pass

lol it took the center ice ref to call that and the ref right next to them let it go
need one here to get momentum back
never mind that was a real penalty
make up call
kreids with a hickey on his neck lol
Miller has been one of the better players since his return, especially with scoring timely goals, I'm so confused at this logic
3 months ago on Conversation @ http://nyrangersblog.com/2014-articles/gameday-thread-rangers-vs-new-jersey-miller-hunwick-out.html
WTF!?!?! how is miller a healthy scratch, way to take a young players confidence and flush it down the toilet ... this is ridiculous
@stevmore idk...i dont disagree with AVs decision to go with miller over kreider....miller is the type of player who possesses the puck, is calm, not afraid to hold on to the puck and make a play ...thats the type of player you need on the PP...
kreider has great speed, and is strong as a bull with raw talent, but i think his hockey sense and his ability to make consistent calm and collected plays isn't always there
kreider to sit in front and create havoc and screens on the PP i do vote for though...any other role other than that i don't see it

@Derek Stepan @J_CKfor30 i say we offer up staal ? lol. If we have to resign him ...hes going to ask for big money, and i don't think we should dump even more money into the defense...idk thats just me, eberle would be fun to watch (i don't know if we physically have the cap space either)

@ATCRyan @PacNYR44 @GiveGartneraCup yea totally agree with you man...just wanted to point that out. But I'm on board with you, i felt he always moved the puck so well, i would have been all for trading girardi at the deadline...who knows if the player acquired could've helped us complete our run...considering girardi wasn't too good in the playoffs

@DHizzy @NYRblogneill some steroids actually cause your blood to be more hypercoagable and clot easier....just sayin'
@ATCRyan @GiveGartneraCup I feel that stralman is definitely a good defensemen, but I don't think you can judge him but his performance this year and his point production....Tampa bay is a very good team so anyone who gets thrown into that line up will produce more than our team...in my opinion
Anyone else realize that this team played their best hockey in the playoffs when the crowd was booing Nash and St. Louis (along with the passing of St. Louis's mom). Its clear this team needs either a common enemy or some reason to come together and fight for no one other than EACHOTHER....thats what makes a team successful, when they want to go out every shift and fight for the man next to them....just seems like they don't have that this year....yet, .... i hope.
McLaren Nash..... i like it

@King For Cup as long as its at their end of the ice
can we have sam rosen announce tonights game?
@J_CKfor30 @Bleed_the_freak i think he was anticipating going five hole when bob slid across
@GiveGartneraCup looks more like a dislocation...usually separations occur from a downward force from the top of the shoulder....but I'm not doctor......yet.

i was always under the impression they used high quality expensive pens when signing contracts... not one that is handed away free by their local bank haha

@stRangers fan @PacNYR44 was that english?
honestly..... no one expected us to go this far...idk if i expected us to make it this far.... its been a really fun post season, and if they can't find someway to come back this series... well... its been fun
@Josh-CK you actually made me laugh out loud
nash lost the puck before he even got touched...lucky we even got a PP out of that play
what a good penalty
@Josh-CK @PacNYR44 idk ... agree to disagree haha
@Josh-CK can't blame hank for two goals that his own players deflected in
If we can't come back from this 2-0 deficit....then we don't deserve the cup ... that is the difference between LA and us...they can and did
can we get a munn posting in here
i think that play warrants a dan girardi in goalie equipment photoshop
@IhateGaborik or sharp and toews..... or getzlaf and perry...or.....
game over... that is the worst thing that could have happened...a goal in the last second after they kill a power play...im not even watching the rest of the game...
......just kidding, i like to be tortured
i wish we could clone zucc's heart and implant it in every other player on this team
@Hoserhey @PacNYR44 haha exactly
lol "worse stuffs happened"
wish we could see this more often
@Jercooks845 because he's afraid of getting hit
