It can't have been gallery. We know the timeless become timelords by attending the academy as mentioned in that episode so where exactly that is raises many new questions although in the day of the doctor the moment says it will ensure he survives as punishment for destroying gallifrey but he never destroys it if he'd wanted to die maybe it is on gallifrey after all then....

No I think there was something there, it wrote listen perhaps to warn the doctor? Was meant to make him remember the 'dream' as a kid. Suggests it knew though. It showed the silhouette of a monster in the kids room behind them something that when under the bedsheets like doubled in size and entered the room without opening the door or being seen.
Clara had that same dream, it's insinuated that many people have the dream. What if they aren't dreaming. I mean what would you do if you were something that didn't want to be seen? Grab their ankle and tell them it's a dream maybe...
No there was something there, point was I think that he didn't need to see/find it to justify his fear of it.
I can't help but associate this promised land/paradise with where the humans/toclophane are trying to get to in the 3rd series...

Well that doesn't make them all cannon though it would make those companions cannon but everything else is still in question... I mean really at best that's an easter Egg acknowledging the work big finish have done. Besides star wars expanded universe is the perfect example of a situation where unless they have directly said "yep this is official we confirm all of this happens as canon" then it isn't canon because they can turn round and say "nope none of its canon" if it contradicts or would cause issues with their storyline. Although I guess if we take the 8th drs stories only as canon then I guess that would still mean.the half.human things out but tbh he could be lying when he said he were lying. So how would you ever say which way round it really is. Clearly Moffat has something planned regarding this else he wouldn't have brought it up.

I didn't think the audios where cannon?
Let me remind you of the ending that killed Hide last series... You know "oh it's just two monsters in love"which turned what had been a sinister creepy presence through the episode one the doctor hadn't even known was there into a farce. Was such a shame as the rest of that episode had been suitably creepy as to make it one of my favorite in a while. At least since the 1st and 2nd episodes of series 6 with the silence all on the ceiling and Amy locked in the room. Dr who is at its best when actually being creepy XD the original weeping angel episode was awesome because it was so doctor lite aswell, but the ww2 gas mask one is also a classic.

I don't think she's a tie lady, but the connection is deffinitely people the doctor talked into killing themselves. However we don't actually know she's refferring to the doctor when she talks about her boyfriend that seems the most obvious choice but this is moffat, she never says his name as far as i can tell.

Couldn;t stand it apart from the fact that generally Dr who's historical episodes stay within a certain realm of generally only featuring major charcters like that who actually existed... the acting was anoying from certain robin's.... The plus side was Peter Capaldi's brilliant lines and acting really quite humorous and Clara aswell however the o 45 mins alone previous two episodes were easily 9/10's then this maybe a 5... and only because of capaldi whith lines like he had would've made it a 6 or 7 even if not being all that funny each time

I understand the point I'm merely stating that it doesn't actually stand up to logic. Ok so put it this way.If deep breath isn't being shown in cinemas license fee payers are getting to watch it live on tv-what they paid for essentially. The episode is still the same, cost the same etc. Now the show is being shown in cinemas and live on TV and the same time. Now they have a choice watch it as they otherwise would have or pay for the cinema however guess what the episode hasn't changed from the alternative method of just airing it on TV meaning it's not cost extra to make. However this way cinemas make money and the BBC make some money that will mostly go to funding new shows or giving dr who a bigger budget. The extra money they make off the cinema is an added extra there's no actual value being stolen from the viewers at home.
1 month, 2 weeks ago on Does Deep Breath Really Deserve a Theatrical Release?
They have am aspect of this with the earpieces and half metal face stuff
But they've set cybermen as being robot shells with a human brain and heart and parts of the nervous system

Hahaha sounds awesome if i wasn't at Reading festival 2014 I'd deffo have gone for that failingnthat I'd have gone normal cinema but that sounds pretty cool.
I am aware they are paying more my point is theuy aren't really paying for the episode they are mainly paying for use of the cinemas facilities. The free broadcast is stil there at home if they want it
But they don't they can watch it at home like normal? If they want to get the cinema experience they pay to see it at the cinema... Its a choice and most of a tickets cost goes to the cinema anyway. If this fills cinemas again it can only be a good thing and lead to better funding for dr who and more of it. Likely a special that's screened in cinemas too every year in the 6-9 month gaps between series and xmas. Like this year because the series is on late summer and autumn we will have to wait from xmas to likely next august/september. That's a long time. To have an hour and a half or even 2 hr special in the middle of that would be awesome. I'm thinking that Peter Jackson directed episode will end up being something like this..
Maybe for the tenth anniversary of the new series of Dr who?
I'm at Reading festival was really hoping with all the tweets and the good relationship they have with the BBC broadcasting so much of the festival they might extend that to having deep breath in the cinema tent Saturday evening butno news on that I don't think the films being shown have been announced yet so there is still hope.
@Regenerated Catterson He definitely replies to that with "no, well yes, well sort of but that's not the point" and he says in Day of the Doctor " I've had many faces many lives, I'm not proud of all of them, some I don't admit too.

Gahhh why cant they show it london... you know there is that MASSIVE cinema by london waterloo owned by BFI... -_- Also abboys me the way they go on andnon about it being filmed in wales most of the time. Who actually cares? It amfilms everywhere these days-all over the world. It's successful in many different countries. I mean they film the lord of the rinfs an the hobbit in new Zealand but you didnt hear thwm going on about that all the time or screening the films first over there. Cardiff is so much harder for fans to get to whereas sonewhere like london being the capital is fairly accessible from all over the country.

So we get it the timelords have been around for a very very long time but I still don't see why thos stops them having originally been humans who after exposure to the time vortex had their dna altered-this prrtty much has to be the case else why would they have a device that allows them to disguise themselves with human dna, how else would river suddenlly become a timelord.... also the doctor would have no reason to reveal this info-as he ISN'T huma as he'd be a later evolution of humans. In the same way that we aren't apes (I forget the name for the common absestors of apes and humans so I'll just say apes) if an ape from another planet said to us "so are you an ape?" You'd reply "no" vecause you aren't. Your species however might priginate from the same source. Timelords may be experts at preserving and recording but maybe the oroginal humans they come from weren't initially? It'd also explain the Doctors fodness for humans and protection of them...he always says "they are capable of so much more" etc to invaders and threats and even some humans on occassion he already revealed that in the show humans spread EVERYWHERE in the future. Also nothing stopping humans evolving on a nother planet like galifrey and then continuing to evolve along different paths due to the technology they possess.
Oh and I agree this sounds kindanlike justification for a future plotline he's working towards....
2 months, 3 weeks ago on Moffat: Who says the Doctor is NOT human?
Ok so, I'd always been assuming that prior to exposure to the time streams etc they were infact humans that had colonised the planet I mean in the fairly recent A good man goes to war- someone says I'm pretty sure that his race like riversong had their dna altered by exposure to the time stream and he says that it took centuries to make them timelords-now River is a timelord seemingly because she was conceived on the Tardis whilst in flight? Right o would that not mean quite clearly that they re humans from the far future who's dna was altered by time travel? I'd thought that was exactly what was being eluded to and I'm sure it's not the first time it's implied to be the case.... I mean they have a device that can turn him human.... or at least hide what he really is.... It's been mentioned he has bacteria seemingly foreign to humans that keeps him live (abit like we have bacteria that helps us live) yet he's not a walking Biochemical weapon killing humans off left right and centre? Not to mention the fact that timelords look like humans.....
@Everybody123456789 Technically doesn't mean he's not human though does it :P Alien can be someone of a different country of origin technically :P (so in this case born on a planet that isn't Earth-doesn't mean he isn't a human or t least evolved from one)
See I wish more of the 'fan girls' were like you I think my female friends are unfortunately split into the "actual fans of the show" and "fans of the actor/actors" not that I'd dare tell them that :p I'd prefer to live to reqch my twenties :p (oh and then there are the ones that are real fans but still do some of the weirder aspect of it and take some of the fan stuff too far... not gonna lie I dont understand that AT ALL, as a guy I dont think we do that about anything/anyone... or maybe its just me and everyone I know lol I think you must know what I mean...)
2 months, 4 weeks ago on Colin Baker: Tennant & Smith Brought Female Fans to Doctor Who
Just putting it out there some of the fan girls (some not all ofc ) really p*ss me off.... mainly the ones that post all these bloody gifs etc about "sexy doctor" or how hot they think Tennant/smith is and so on. A few of them I d I wibder if they really like the show or just the actor-guess we will see if they stop watching the show now (I have a friend who stopped watching when david t left and used to claim she was a fan-my reaction was one of "what the...? How can you be a fan if you arent willing to give a new doctor a chance." Answer is you cant be.) Still.. wish they'd tone dowb the stupid gifs and memes abit thats not who/what the doctor is suppossed to represent and its pretty much an insult to the character and writers to treat him like that. (They do it to bennedict cumberbatch/sherlock too and moffat sometimes sems to encourage that far too much...
"The master played by the late roger delago might return" um how he's dead? Why not just have it that John Simm's regenerated? Makes more sense.... After all the Master didn't know anything about the time war etc in series 3 ergo bringing him back before then would seem silly.

I dont think it changes who the doctor is at all he wqs prepared todo it. He had false memories of doing it and therefore tjat stiff will still have left its mark. Havkng Clara catalyse the change was genius as it allows the doctkr tl retain thks sode lf hom wjere he forgets himself and goes tol far. He wpuld've done kt the great millenia old genius alien couldn't see wha I the generic human could. She could see that findjng another way was a better option than sacraficing all those innocents.the point of claras involvement is to show the dr doesnt always get it right.

Don't be such a tool. Ofc you can have sexism towards men. Sexism is anything that has an unfair bias/predjudice towards one sex over the other. End of. It's really that simple. None of this power nonsense. Having power and control makes it alot easier for people who are sexist to impose their predjudices on other people however they can make sexist remarks and commit sexist actions without that power or control....
3 months, 3 weeks ago on Sexism and Doctor Who: The Truth
This is rediculous, I mean for one thing the show is called "Doctor Who" its primary focus IS The Doctor- a male (yeah as far as we know he's male and seems to be hetrosexual or whater the word for a male alien that likes female's provided they are from an intelligent species?-and this has been consistent andnto change it now would seem very odd.) So with a male character who shares a name with the title of the show would it really suprise anyone that the other characters talk about him alot. What about rory how much does he talk about the doctor (alot) what would that tell us. I agree with your later points however about the doctor being presented as an imperfect character. Someone who plays the hero but on many an occassion would/has been fine allowing a few deaths to try and save others-a traditional hero would save everyone everytime . Although moffat does worse with the whole ACTUALLY killing characters than Davies did. But thats a whole seperate issue. (When clara's character's time to leave arrives as much as I love her character and I really do like her character he needs to kill her off and I mean properly.) Also got to point out how much do the male characters talk about amy and have their actions revolve around her I mean that happens so much its why I was gald she was written out along with rory.
@Planet of the Deaf hey this is D Who we-should be celebrating its awesomeness EVERY year. Also the TV show may have started originally 50 years ago. But a large proportion of the audience that watches it will have only started in 2005 being too young for the older stuff to be on. So why not celebrate that. I mean at the end of the day if people will watch it in large numbers or go to the cinema to watch it like with the 50th then why not? As long as it's done properly it can't really do any harm...
4 months ago on Smith Eager for Another Multi-Doctor Story
@doctorwho7thdoctor @Rani Nose It would either annoy americans or british. Look at Assassins Creed 3 sections of the game are hated by one or the other because it alternates the point of view to an extent (it was deffo more pro america which was annoying I won't lie for a character meant to be neutral) I mention this because in such a situation the doctor is probably meant to be neutral but any action he takes is likely to make him seem to take a side. That's why the alien is useful it allows the history to continue in the background. Personally I think most historical's would be rather boring if he can't really get properly involved and we already know the exact outcome.

@SacTownBrian I strongly suspect sony will bundle the camera with a game that uses it's functionality sometime not far down the line for only about £20 more ($40) than the game on it's own-if they can get the right game with this...make it compelling enough that people by it? Well that could be sucessful I also see the camera being bundled with the console in a years time for all the less hardcore adopters that are more likely to use it to play the more casual games that these devices tend to get.
1 year, 1 month ago on Xbox One success vs. PS4 failure, justification attempted
@malcontento and ofc there's always a second HDMI port on your TV and the 10 seconds to switch between each HDMI channel, googles new chrome cast will be out in the UK which basically gives you all the TV features and more via any android phone or tablet for 25 pounds and smart TVs do all of this now including the voice control and have cameras more often than not.
you realise the ps4 can do all the multimedia stuff the xbox one can? with the exception of the tv control-but as that requires a cable box and seperate subscription anyway... it shouldn't matter. Also on the ps4 the stuff isn't locked behind a paywall you can talk to people, use party chat, compare scores and trophys, use bbc iplayer, netflix, now tv, share recorded games and live stream to friends for free. ONLY the actual playing online for games that aren't f2p anyway requires ps plus, but as you're getting games at no extra cost from that and discounts on the store you'd be nuts not to have plus anyway...
Sony's patent specifically meant their tech allowed them to regulate it without a web connection, however if your ps4 broke... Point is I think they'll leave ti down to the publishers. :/ So EA deffo will lol
