@Rage @Lemay1945 @FlowerPower Yeah. Let's trade him!
@Rage @FlowerPower @Lemay1945 In this specific game? Yes. It the past it hasn't just been Neal.
It's a good thing the Pens kept Despres out the game. You wouldn't want a guy like that playing in a game like this where you need your best defensemen out there.
It's essentially the exact same team that got bounced by Philly in the playoffs last year. Not sure what we all expected to change in the offseason.
Okay, time to do something productive.
@FlowerPower Maybe they can resign Phillipe Boucher and put him out there instead of Despres and Bortuzzo.
The best thing that could happen at this point is that the Flyers don't make the playoffs
I remember when I used to look forward to watching the Pens and Flyers play, now I dread it.
@FlowerPower @Lemay1945 So yes, yes they have our number. I remember not to long ago the roles were reversed.
So do the Flyers just have our number now? Is that how it is?
Cooon!
Dumb move by Neal to get put back in the box. The first penalty was BS, the second was just stupid.
Wow, the camera shots are just awful so far. They keep doing close ups on people's faces during game play.
Why is Despres always on the block? Has anyone other than Rossi floated the idea of trading Despres?
People like to overreact one way or the other. I think the Pens will be fine and make the playoffs, however I don't see any reason why they'll go deeper in the playoffs this year than they did int he past three.
@HYJYNX @Lemay1945 Yeah, I'm not really sure what we expected though. The Pens got bounced from the playoffs last year and lost Staal, Z, and Sullivan. They added Glass and Sutter. It's not like the personnel changes indicated they were going to be a different team this year.
The most disappointing thing about the Pens this year is how they play down to worse teams. Games like this are where the Pens should be padding their wins.
@HYJYNX @Lemay1945 @FlyinPenguin Let's hope so.
@HYJYNX @FlyinPenguin Yeah, but have you seen anything that indicates the Pens are about to mount a big comeback?
Kent Brockman:
Mr. Simpson, how do you respond to the charges that petty vandalism such
as graffiti is down eighty percent, while heavy sack beatings are up a
shocking nine hundred percent?
Homer Simpson:
Aw, you can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent. Forty percent of all people know that.
