@Bon Scott was a Leaf fan @skiingallday ah, yea it ain't the prettiest, but I loved the interior more than the others, still got the harmon kardon audio without needing to buy all the fancy nav shit. Also, the sightlines are way better, it feels like you have way more visibility than the other suvs because of the lower sill height in the forester.

@Bon Scott was a Leaf fan @Murph2417 @mike_84 yea my fam hasn't had great experiences with audis. Always some expensive little part constantly breaks or malfunctions

1 week, 5 days ago on Friday Mashup: The Swarm & Coaching Duties
Man I feel like garbage today. Had my last day of work for the summer yesterday.
@Burtonboy @skiingallday I'm just starting to learn all this stuff, which is the future of computing, so I feel like I will be set in the next few years ahah. So excited for the future right now.
2 weeks ago on Thursday Mashup: It’s Going to be a Long Month
@Burtonboy @skiingallday yes, I believe it would be an extremely powerful tool if used properly by them. The difference between a traditional "relational database" and a 'big data database" is that it's not strucured like SQL, its very flexible and each cell of data can be accessed by a keyvalue pair. This allows you to be able to pour massive amounts of data in, that may not be all in the same format, without enduring massive costs to curate it to make it the exact same format (same column names ect...).
Current SQL databases make it really hard to add a lets say a "circle" to a database with a million "triangles", whereas something based on googles BigTable design (accumulo ect..) will allow you to add it as long as it has a defined key value (such as a combination of time stamp, id of circle, permissions for others to view) and it will just store the key value into the table, which is then used to fetch the circle instead of trying to store the "circle" itself in the table.
Kind of a rambling explantion, but its early, and I'm not even sure how many of you care about this lol.
@Burtonboy loved that article, right now I'm interning at a company that is focused on big data in healthcare. It's really fascinating. The term "Big Data" itself is a little misleading, yes you want to be able to store a fuckton of data, but your not going to look at all of it at once. What it really helps with is filtering down to view a smaller subset of data that you might not be able to see with a traditional relational database.
Think of it like google maps, if you search for "italian restaurant" its not gonna show you every italian restaurant in the world. Google, although they have a huuuuge database full of restaurants with a tag for "italian" it will filter it down and provide you with a small, mangagable, but useful subset of data. For ex. it might provide 4&5 star review italian restaurants within 5km of your house.
This is what germany is doing as well, with soccer, which is brilliant, because with big data analysis it's much easier to find correlations between different problems (ex. diabetes & increased heart problems) or (completed passes by Ozil & offensive zone time) which can prove to be extremely powerful. I really hope the leafs trend in this direction.
Big Data is the future of databases (Analyzing useful smaller chunks of data derived from an extremely large set of data)
somehow they failed to mention how pacioretty sucked ass in the playoffs and JVR looked like a god.

@Bruffins I would like stamkos on the team in '13-'14
3 weeks ago on Jake Gardiner talks contract with Greg Brady
@Cameron19 @skiingallday @Jay_Berg got a runners body. There ain't no fat.
@Jay_Berg sign me up bud. All 130 pounds of me will fill the net.
@Bruffins @skiingallday I'd rather a Big Mac, but that's alright I guess.
Have the Leafs every considered signing a really really fat guy that could cover the entire net to play goalie? Would be best in league.
@ingy56 @DARF24 old enough or young enough? Either way, you're old.
This collection of players will make $64.7-million next year somehow http://capgeek.com/sabres
3 weeks, 1 day ago on Jake Gardiner Signs for 5 years, $20.25 million
@Bruffins @skiingallday @wiski @Mcost61 @Bobsyouruncle I think the Jays need 5 stromans. That would get er' done
@wiski @skiingallday @Mcost61 @Bobsyouruncle I love that we're absolutely killing the Red Sox this season.
@Burtonboy @skiingallday but if that's the "high" end from Subbans camp... then I still feel that MTL is lowballing him. Guy should be making at least 7mil minimum. He's one of the best Dmen in the league.
Wow, so looking at the Habs vs Subban they're really far apart. I feel like Subbans camp has more reasonable demands, but I could see him making more than Captain Pylon.
The commentors on the sportsnet article make me wanna cry.
3 weeks, 2 days ago on Toronto Maple Leafs sign Daniel Winnik to a one-year deal
@colino17 @deedrag he could solve our 1st line center problem
@Biltmore weather is still a fuck ton better than detroit though!
@Mcost61 @wiski @Mind Bomb hey buds, cut it out ;)
@TheCanucksnaphook @skiingallday @Mcost61 @Burtonboy ok, so you eat people? yeesh, remind me to steer clear of all the golf courses in southern ontario.
@TheCanucksnaphook @Mcost61 @Burtonboy for a man that doesn't eat animals..... you are one sick twisted son of a gun.
@colino17 @skiingallday @LeafFan15 @Tim Horton @Loric76 I just used a url expander. Thank god those exist
@LeafFan15 @skiingallday @Tim Horton @Loric76 hahahhahahaha
@LeafFan15 @skiingallday @Tim Horton @Loric76 now I'm afraid to click the link.
@Tim Horton @Loric76 shoulda used bit.ly hahaha, really fuck with him
My attempt at the leaf lineup:
hockey player-hockey player-hockey player
@TheCanucksnaphook @wiski yet they'll still do better than the Leafs...
@MaxwellHowe @TheCanucksnaphook @skiingallday well we all know what happened to King Joffrey
@TheCanucksnaphook @skiingallday It's a toughie that's for sure
@TheCanucksnaphook Ashton has a 2-way deal, so he's probably fucked
@TheCanucksnaphook Frattin and Kontiola?
@vinoa @wiski who's the 3rd mimico boy?
@TheCanucksnaphook for the top line on the marlies maybe
3 weeks, 3 days ago on Toronto Maple Leafs sign Daniel Winnik to a one-year deal
@docmma me. I already predicted it down below with my First Day on the Internet Kid picture.
@Bruffins @TheCanucksnaphook and we were 4-2 against them the previous season.
@The_Polish_Cannon @Bruffins @skiingallday has anyone told bob that he isn't actually my uncle? he drives by every day and asks me to get into his van claiming that he's my uncle to take me to disney land.
@wendelsway1 @Bruffins I think the whole problem lies in the scouting department, mainly Thommy Bergman, we should fire that bum.
@vinoa @skiingallday like this?
