The sky is Burkie and White on my planet with a Thrill every game.
Guess we should all right letters to Santa! :)

Curt: really appreciate the updates. Truth be told the current play of the Leafs has left me disinterested in a lot of leaf related things. I am really pleased that our recent draft picks seem to be doing extremely well. But they will be 1-3 years away. I was really hoping the staff knew what they were doing with the Gauthier selection but a number of reports have him behind later draft picks. Lot of good news, bad news. The Marlies are in real need of some solid offensive talent, so I remain hopeful that we have a good pipe-line through the Juniors. Recent history suggests we are improving but are still lagging way behind the Redwings organization in deliverables.

Bon: I try to watch all of the Ancient Aliens series. Thought provoking. I try to balance its position, but the presenters certainly make strong points.
Bon: that is my hope too.
BYU and Cloud: appreciate the posts. I graduated out of the UK so miss these things.
I was hoping Toninato would be tearing it up. Injured?

Are we on the remedial thread?
IMO Raymond has not performed very well last few weeks. Would be a great dog at "Fetch" but he has not made a big difference on his line.

Theacs: until we can get our defensive "box" working properly (focus on the forwards), not sure additional personnel will add a lot. Garrett had some brilliant pictures of how we line up in his post. Phil's line has had some very poor shifts. They are killer on the breakaway, but time after time are scrambling to retrieve the puck. RC has to get this group comfortable and motivated.

Sad how we can see the problems, but the mistakes continue on ice. Great post by Shift on the four goals. For me our defensive line up lacks understanding. We play deep, scrambling. Opponents retrieve and get the puck back to the point. Our forwards then mad dash to block and we continue to scramble. Our clearing round the boards is ridiculous. The opponents are covering the boards and gratefully intercept. Our passing is not crisp and most often leads to turnovers. We are out of sync with our play and each other. Can't see much changing until the players "get it" and play the focused hockey we have seen earlier.
He may not be an instantaneous hit, but he has some great stuff. Comes from Liverpool, and is now one of the hottest comedians.

Wiski: having site problems. In answer: check out John Bishop good sir!
Darth: Me too, but this is getting close to a root canal.
Darth: Now you are depressing me more than the game!
Whalz: with the greatest of respect to one of my favourite players, Luups is never healthy. He's more like a drive-by player, good when available.
Bon, who is out there. IMO this is not on RC it's on the players, and yes it's easier to fire a coach. I don't see it, but then I don't trust Lieweke either.
Well we could all meet up with Bon...... Or believe in the players and RC. Personally I'd prefer to meet with Bon, but I have high hope AP's Notebook will give me renewed faith. :)
Craving...... Major munches?
Dear Santa:I have a very big wish to ask this year. Can you please right the Good Ship "Maple Leafs"? This is not just for myself, it is a wish that would spread much joy around the world.
Oh shoot we burned the boats!
Wiski, in most cases I am very pleased to see those traded do well. They are alumni that gave us their best. They are on my honor role no matter what.
PS have a hard time with Aki Berg, and the -3 bonehead from the Wings. Had respect for Finger.
