@Bon Scott was a Leaf fan I couldn't believe how much Clarkson had changed when I flew back to Ontario last summer. I hadn't been back in about 10 years and I was like "wtf happened" .......even the Sattelitte Burger joint was boarded up. I was a Clarkson boy through and through....lived there all my life until about 2002.

@Uncle Otis That should cure Nonis' stage fright and get his mojo going hopefully.
@Uncle Otis Its only 11:30 am out here but I wish I was on the piss as well.
@DeclanK When did they get the 10th ?
@HHT I think Ingy may be kidding. First giveaway is that we don't retire numbers......the 2nd is that its Todd Gill

Sitting in a playoff spot.
That's really all we can ask for right now. We were told by every talking head and media fuckwad that we were terrible and would be lucky to even repeat the performance from last year, so at this point we really can't panic. We have to remember that even though Fenton has told us that being young means jack squat , its obvious we are watching a team grow and this jekyll and hyde nonsense is just par for the course. The system we are using , while frustrating , has shown itself to be effective when we get rolling so let's wait until we are actually mathematically eliminated from the playoffs before we tear it all to shreds.

How's the panic in here today ? We trading everyone again or are we not living and dying by one game after an Olympic break ?
2 shorties in 48 seconds .....sucks but shit happens.
Back on the horse tomorrow night ! GLG
It was fun to listen to the talking heads fellate the entire American team since day 1....steamrolling this , dominating that , team to beat , best constructed team yadda yadda yadda. Wonder how all the hoopla is working out now for them . Hoopla = bronze I guess......simple math.

Nash out? Or is he the extra forward?
@Burtonboy I have to agree with you there regarding the quality. I have yet to find a streaming service that is as smooth and clear as the Centre Ice feeds are. Trying to stream a fast moving sport like hockey , one played on a white ice backround , is inherently difficult. The lags and jittery glitches that develop are tough to eliminate regardless of how fast the internet is coming thru the pipe. Centre Ice leads the way in this regard....likely due to its purchase of game feeds directly from the provider and not needing a 3rd party ( hockeystreams, game centre etc ) to then send the feed out to its subscribers. Also would explain why centre ice is the more expensive choice.

@Bruffins @Marpole_Leafs I loved Tie, but Mats was a bit of a stud and could have used some help.
@Bruffins At one point I remember us trotting out Chad Kilger and Domi with Mats back in the day. Dark times
@CanuckUKinToronto They wouldn't let the numbers get in the way of a good Leaf bashing
@Burtonboy Ashton should have said not to worry , he will be able to handle it for the 3:38 in icetime Randy will give his line.
@CanuckUKinToronto I agree and like Phook said down below, Reimer wins games like this. He loves the doubters.
I'm feeling a big win tonight. I don't think we have quit on Randy and I don't think Randy is going anywhere. To state the obvious, it's all on the players now....like it always has been, but, even more so now that HBO and the Winter Classic are done. no more fucking excuses and injuries don't count as one. Its time to stop with this pussyfooting around bullshit and get out there and show us some fucking guts. No more bullshit.
@Uncle Otis We used a milk crate as well behind the net and didn't have too many issues. For the price of this gun its expected that the closer you get to the beam the more accurate it will be but even with guys flubbing them off the post or high into the net we were still getting readings. I am sure if we splurged for the $2,000 versions its accuracy would be better but its all in good fun so we aren't too concerned.
Surprising what some of the radars out there cost.
9 months, 2 weeks ago on Leafs Notebook – January 8
@Uncle Otis My beer league team bought one of these to replace our broken gun and it works fine. Granted , it was our first year using it , but no issues at all. We do a yearly booze up skills comp and have had the hardest shot event every year. We used to rent them for the day before we owned one , so that may also be an option for you.
@CanuckUKinToronto In Kulies defence, I don't think effort for the Leafs has ever been in question. His production with Russia may be linked to playing with Malkin

I always wait until we are mathematically eliminated from the post-season prior to panicking, but we really need to snap the fuck out of this funk we are in for the love of sweet fuck. Fraser needs to never be back in again until he can show that he can capably skate. He has serious Exelby foot right now. Chin up everyone its not as bad as it seems......we're not 30th place and/or Habs fans , so it could always be worse.
Needless to say , tomorrows game is gargantuan.

@Radar O'Rielly Hahahaha. We wish. They need to keep their 'consistently inconsistent' reputation intact.

@Radar O'Rielly Damigo had a rough night. He also took a pretty solid shot face first into the glass when Sill ran him a few minutes prior to Sill fighting Bodie.
Side note : Fuck Kerry Fraser
@Jmessih @Marpole_Leafs He certainly did. Good on him. Someone needed to do it. Making Timmy proud.
If Bodies jaw was built like Orpiks, he would still be out on the ice lying down. Boy did he take some heavy shots to the bugle. Liked the effort , he's a terrible fighter but its the principle of the matter that counts, right Maclaren ? That Sill (sp?) maggot was running around out there last night like an idiot.
@Jmessih @Yaknowwhat Raymond is 10th best value currently. Mike Santorelli is the best value at $22,917 / point.
Raymond is at $41,667 / point

@deedrag I agree, I feel the Fraser injury last year really hindered our ability to disrupt Chara when they parked him in front for the last 10 minutes of game 7. Fraser would have maybe not been the solution but he would have been an option. Phaneuf was fucking gassed and literally could barely stand up.
10 months, 1 week ago on Game Preview: Taking a good loss into St. Louis
@deedrag If we were allowed to use Charas own crosscheck to the face move then we may have a fighting chance.
@deedrag News flash, there are 0 players in the league who move Chara from the net.
2 Points be dammed , we Corsi'd the hell out of those guys last night.

@Gozo Nobody. We are sending out Gunnar by himself.
@Shift_Disturber1 Same here , he is terrible.
@Gozo Dream big, right? I also hope that Ray Ferraro doesn't start waxing poetic about some shift he took in 1987 that has no relation to a replay he is showing. But I wont push my luck
@Gozo He's overrated and a 5th D man at best I've heard so by that logic we are in line for a 6-2 win without the burden of Dion
