@Cameron19  It hurts when they're successful i know...lolll. They deserved that series though. Mind you, that disallowed goal last game, and that call you're referring to....if they are reversed its definitely a different series. Is it a 2-2 series? We'll never know...all i know, is that Tampa won a cup that they really lost to Calgary in game 6, so i guess Karma is a bitch.

Just curious and uneducated on the matter, but how good is Hagelin? I know he's fast, he's apparently on their first line, but thats pretty much all i know.

@Belfour20/JB-45 @Savo43 Now, if the Bruins had Seguin and weren't a whole lot better, what makes you think they would be with Savard?

@Belfour20/JB-45 @Savo43  I'd much rather Bergeron on my 2nd line than Savard. I'm sure Julien would as well. Thats just me though. Theres 2 sides of the puck, Savard only addresses one side of it (offense).

@Belfour20/JB-45  ....really? You mean as their 3rd or 4th line centerman? Not really a bottom 6 type, not sure where he fits on that team.

Seriously can't believe this fanbase is talking about tanking. Gzuz lollll. We fell apart due to many ailing factors, one of them being behind our bench. That being said we still have a good team, and a very solid farm waiting to be unleashed in the big leagues. Stay the course, let the garbage walk and continue to plant seeds. A complete overhaul is not in the cards, a couple trades or a serious addition will be. We aren't about to tank, and we never will, we will have to win a cup with our own blueprint, much to the likes of every other team that does it.....differently. We need to quit trying to mimic the pathetic organizations of the league, and operate our own way. Fact of the matter is, we can't sit dormant and let a #1 overall pick go under the radar for half a season like MacKinnon did. If it was us who picked MacKinnon, we would've been complaining 30 games into the season, saying that we should've picked Monahan because at the time he was outproducing him. Thats Toronto for ya.

@Jay31 @Belfour20/JB-45  No we really don't deserve a talent like that. We're talking about trading two players who have helped turn this team around in the last couple of years. Two guys who signed long year deals because they love hockey in Toronto, and they want to win here. But yeah, lets toss them to the wayside, because we "deserve" better talent. LOL. Yeah, no.

@Belfour20/JB-45  With that logic, Edmonton would be a hell of a team right now. Just because MacKinnon is a beast, doesn't mean McDavid will be. MacKinnon was a memorial cup champion, playing for an incredibly talented junior team, championships were bred into his dna playing with a guy like Drouin and Ehlers. Playing with those guys could only help his confidence and ability to become an even better player. To say the same would happen for McDavid and to trade away your best players in hopes of getting that draft pick, is not only pathetic, but extremely risky. A #1 overall pick to the Toronto Maple Leafs would be way to much pressure for any 18 year old.

@Bruffins @[BBirde]  How bout the team thats up 1-0 on them right now? Detroit is a damn good team when they're healthy. Especially with Nyquist and Tatars emergence.

@ShiftyD @~Keon  Why are ppl surprised? Hockey players are the mouthiest fuckers in the world. They say shit in the game, doesn't mean they carry that mentality off the ice. I dont know how many players ive played against that laugh at the site of an injury. Not saying its ok, just saying that i'm sure Backes would say the same to Keith.

@ShiftyD @Savo43  Yeahhh, add to that, that they basically found 2 new stars half way through the season in Nyquist and Tatar, and they aren't your typical 8th seed. Seems as though the Datsyuk and Zetterberg injuries were a blessing in disguise for them.

So let me get this straight...we were 3 place for a large portion of the year..but after a coach induced collapse (he doesn't play for than 3 lines, and misuses and mistreats players publicly, causing a disruption) we suddenly have bad management, Phil Kessel is no longer a top 10 player in the league, Phaneuf all of the sudden sucks, and the pieces put in place to move forward are no longer any good? Wtf is with this psychotic fan base. Sorry but alot of you say one thing, than a couple weeks later, are on the complete other end of the spectrum. One circumstance does not define this organization and next year will prove that.
