First, you look gorgeous in this video! I love your sweater. :) And this is such a great idea... I'm going to brainstorm an ecourse I can offer for my list-building. Thank you! xo
*gasp* I LOVE THIS: "my intention is to see myself, and to allow myself to be seen." POWERFUL. You are amazing my friend and I know there is so much you have to give to the world! I can't wait for more people to SEE you and RECOGNIZE that amazingness. :) Love you! xo
Nath, I freaking love this. What a concept! I love your spin on the power of saying NO. Thank you :)
These are awesome tips Nath!! Also, you look beautiful! xo
AWESOME tips Nath! I love it!! Taking notes on business cards has been SO helpful for me to remember people when I get home. Can't wait to see you!! xo
I am so in love with this post Nath! I've been going through something similar... First, I was a tomboy growing up and really never learned how to "do" my hair and accessorize and all that fun, girly stuff that my older sister did. I wore makeup in high school but I never really dressed up. Jeans, a fitted tee and my sneakers. I did get into dressing up a little more when I was first out of college... but when I started working for myself and bouncing between bill-paying, contract jobs, I don't know, I stopped prioritizing my clothes and went back to casual.
Lately, with all my personal and business focus changes, I have this deep urge to start expressing my style through clothes and accessories. It's like it's been buried deep down for awhile and my girly side is ready to come out! The haircut perhaps? ;)
Thanks for sharing this. I'm excited to see how we look in Mexico! xo
I am SO EXCITED about this post! I love it! So organized! Off to download... xo
AshleyGwilliam I totally hear you on trying to be prepared so you can get it right. I've definitely done that! I have learned that it's so much better to just start moving yourself forward and getting things started, then figuring a lot of the details out as you go. If you're a perfectionist planner (like moi) you'll spend MONTHS and even YEARS planning everything out, and that's just wasted time!
And yay! It all starts with awareness and small steps towards eliminating the distractions. A friend just shared a trick with me called "chunking." You make a list of all the things that are MONEY PRODUCING that you need to do... then you spend 45 solid minutes working on those things (set a timer). Then take a 15 minute break to walk, watch TV, read something, snack, whatever... and dive back in for another solid 45 minutes. You can repeat this a few times. Sounds to me like an amazing way to plow through the important things AND allow yourself some distraction. :) xo
JakiBent That's a really great strategy Jaki! Thanks for sharing. Sometimes I end up with a window full of tabs that I want to read... but I hadn't thought about scheduling time just for that! xo
helenkkopp YES!!! Just DO them without planning it out first. Plans are great, but it's really important to just start doing so you can break that bad cycle! :)
LizLongacre Ooooh, super smart trick! I do that too and it's a great way to avoid the chance to distract yourself. And thanks for keeping me out of the hidden folder! ;D xo
ColbyOhlhausen Thank you Colby! I really appreciate your comment, being present is SO important to living a fulfilling life. And yay for getting your business going! Also love this, "You don't want to starve yourself of information, but binging is just as bad." xo
Such great information and resources! I love to leave comments for the social aspect. It's such a great way to connect with new people and be involved in a conversation around a good post. :) Thanks for another awesome post Nath! xo
Moves that Improve! Love! Sending this to my boyfriend who is always complaining about tight hamstrings. PS- I want my ass to look like yours!!
MalikMirza Hi Malik, thank you again for the comment and resource! Meditation is awesome for learning how to be in the present moment. Appreciate you stopping by! :)
LizLongacre Hahaha! I can see that. Yes, getting out of your head is the way to get things done! Tackle it one thing at a time! xo
yourgreatlifetv Yes! You're so right Bernardo. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts! xo
NicoleSmootTengwall Hi Nicole! I'm so sorry to hear that you went through such a rough time, but I AM glad to hear that you've since grown and that things are better. Gratitude is a HUGE part of the process. Learning to live in abundance rather than scarcity makes it easier to be positive and HAPPY with your life! Good luck in your business endeavors and let me know if I can help in any way! xo
creativekitty13 Hey Jen! LOVE your comment. "Take things as they come and roll with them... in the end it will give you life experience and character!" Such wise words! xo
NeuralCorrelate You make a great point! If you have different sides to your personality then this is not a determining factor for you. I do think it's important to ask yourself why you act differently depending on the situation or people. If it's because you're trying to fit in or people please, it's inauthentic. If it's just another part of who you are, awesome! Appreciate your comment! xo
