Mocking an athlete's injury because they use a competitors product isn't a joke to a lot of people.

GK&R are the best in the business.

Washington and Miami are particularly insufferable and Chip Caray is also pretty terrible. Haven't heard much of the Phillies new crew though.

If you haven't figured out Costas is a master troll by this point you're quite naive. NBC and Costas know exactly what they are doing by giving him this soapbox.

Why would Tampa Bay leak information about failed drugs test for a player they were actively trying to trade?

It was 100% Freeman's agent trying to force his release.

@MikeZoltek Prime Shaq could beat anyone one on one simply by backing them down and using his footwork to score easy buckets.

Dude was flat unstoppable.

If the last two seasons are "peak" LeBron James, then yes he would take Jordan down one on one. He's impossible to stop in the post by a smaller player like Jordan, is shooting over 40 percent from beyond the arc and has 2 inches and 40+ pounds on Jordan as well as being the far superior athlete.

@eclecticbuddha @DFreshHookup Willis is one of the, if not the most conditioned athlete I've ever seen. Dude is always in ridiculous shape, it's a shame he was robbed of his burst though, his 2002 season was one of the best I've ever seen from a college RB ever.

Ironic that the Browns signed Willis McGahee with Clarett begging for a workout. Talk about a won the battle lost the war type ending.

It's going to make it very difficult for either side to politicize this now that we know it was a black Texan mass murderer. Next we'll find out he was jewish.

Ray might be just making some generalizations about what happened but the spread fluctuated wildly before the game and a Ravens win outright and the over (49) at the time was the absolute worst case scenario for Vegas.

Was it probably just a power failure? Sure, but it's not the most insane conspiracy theory, especially since it happened with the Ravens ahead 28-6 and immediately following what would have been a back breaking (and probably game ending) sack on 3rd down.

Never doubt the money. And if it was more than just a power failure, it almost worked too.

ESPN fires Rob Parker because he called RGIII a "Cornball Brother" but then hires the guy who hasn't written a piece in probably 5 years that hasn't made some ridiculous or bizarre tie into race relations or racism?

ESPN is TERRIFIED of Fox Sports right now. Bed wettingly scared of them.

It's funny how ESPN's ratings have almost identically followed the rise, fall and rise again of LeBron. They pushed all their chips in on that angle and it both succeeded (short term) and failed (possible long term)

2011 - First season of the Big 3, sky high ratings for that abortion known as First Take, all the way through the Heat loss to Dallas

2012 - More "LeChoke" drama right up until the end of ESPN's control of the Heat with the Game 6 legendary game, and the "redemption" summer of LeBron and Team USA's run to gold.

2013 - Majority of people smartened up tool First Take and their weak trolling, the god awful ESPN NBA crew and the general apathy of the regular season, no LeBron other than him running through a Bulls wasteland.

For two straight years they built LeBron as the super villain and now tried to turn him into the sympathetic figure after he started winning. All they have left now is petty speculation of his return to Cleveland (which is just a laughable scenario) for the next 11 months or so.

1 year, 4 months ago on A closer look at ESPN's ratings

In the age of the NFL where teams are more concerned with character and image than they are of results, it will be interesting to see what team risks a very high draft pick on a kid like Manziel, especially in a year that is flush with QBs.

His immaturity and obviously privileged attitude  will be glaring red flags to a lot of teams, embarrassing elder statesmen like the Manning's is not a good way to get your career started. He's got a lot of growing up to do if he doesn't want to end up the Ryan Leaf of the 2014 draft.
