Wow Fowler.  REALLY nice, concise write up.  Thank you for teaching me a few new things.

@BroadwayBlueZ a mean streak and eyelashes like heaven..

In all seriousness, isnt an elbow to the head the exact thing that got John Moore suspended?  Last night, however, Downie takes a run at his back from now where near the play with intent to injure as far as Im concerned as he pulled UFC moves and elbowed Moores head repeatedly.  Ref closest to the incident doesnt even respond.  It takes a whistle jockey who is farther away to try and stop animal like Downie while Moore basically cant even defend himself due to his previous suspension.  The officiating that the rangers receive is comically unbalanced.

@Say my Name A-MEN.   Although something tells me (experience with AV) that it wont last, cant last cause it would just not be Ranger hockey if we starting matching teams' physicality.

Daniel Carcillo had a goal last night with Chicago.  Cant help but feel he got a raw deal from the Rangers last season.  Stood up for the Rangers who subsequently turned their back on him when he was shaken like a kid by a pretty handsy ref does not good karma make in that department.   I hope Im wrong.

@KingOfThe4x6 Did the Habs receive a 5 Minute Major and was Prust ejected after the game?   NO..  Was Moore?  YES.  If Prust has been ejected would that have saved Carcillo not to mention the momentum of that game?    How is that wrong righted then?

I also disagree with your assessment of the principle point of contact.  Ive watched closely and Stepans jaw seems to receive a lot more force than his body (which pinwheeled unlike Weise's).

Is Prust a repeat offender? hmm

And Richards has been just awesome on our PP. So awesome in fact that now everyone is commenting that we need TWO defensive men with him on the unit to make up for his deficiencies.

with that reasoning we shouldn't pick up any player that comes from any team because "that team let the player walk"

@Rangers_54  YOU get it.   I LOVE the idea of one of our most physically tough forwards replacing one of our physically weakest forwards.  After all, what could it hurt besides maybe the opposition chances of scoring untouched?

@JoeyKocur  oh please.  No one in the league is going after Richards.  They love having him on the ice.  He's got the worst +/- on the team.  He's currently ranked #1 in the league on games played as evidence to that.

@Copadavis  I thought I was the only one who noticed his rushing to the bench every damn time there was an odd man rush coming!!!!

Dont forget his commitment to having the highest shot count on the team with the lowest shooting percentage.  He'll be damned if he doesnt lob one to the oppositions goalie's logo at least twice during a PP.

@Say my Name @Bleed_the_freak  Ditto on all points.  I said it last year and I'll say it again; theres some weird energy between Nash and Richards.   I wonder if its infecting the team.  Our two "superstars" not being on the same page.

@SmellyKisio @McPhee37  Uh Yeah we do think thats exactly what the coach does.  He told Carcillo emphatically NO when Carcillo asked if he could "go" last game after the hitS on Mac.  And watching Staal cover himself as best he could when Neil was landing a right and then a left (I was at the game) was sad.  so so sad.  Cause like everyones said on this blog; when your coach wont play his physical players then our elite players are getting run at by all the Neils and Burrows of the league.

@ivanricov  He also leads the team in games played because if one doesnt play defense than ones chances of getting hurt lower dramatically.  He only plays for those stats you speak of.

Im really tired of Bad knees brads powder puff soft shots on goal that really seem to boost the opposing Goalies confidence.   Does anyone else get the feeling that hes playing for his own stats and not the team?  Hashtag minus ten.

@Scott from SEC 224@Kevin DeLury@JoshKaye@calithirteen Look if everyone on the team played as many games as he has gotten to play then he would most definitely NOT be leading in points.  Also, with his salary he damn well better be leading in something.  Zucc is a point or two off of him and I believe making one/sixth his salary. #buyout
