@TomDundie @AL55S lost you half way through your comments. make no sense. and don't say no one wants out Look at Callahan as another example. State tax a factor but not as big as people are talking about Just saying I understand guys are going to do what they have to for themselves money wise but than how come Dan Boyle took, less to become a Ranger. He turned down higher offers

at the end of the day Stralman and Boyle wanted out of NY . Stralman asked for more from the Rangers than he took from Tampa and Boyle wanted a bigger role. Boyle is full of shit because he will not have a bigger role on Tampa than he did in NY. Does he think he will be on the line with Stamkos. With the young scorers Tampa have he will be right back where he belongs killing penalties and playing on the fourth line. I think there was a bigger issue Boyle had with AV and I wonder what influence Callahan and Boyle's wife had to do with his decision to leave. Oh well as I always say If you don't want to be a Ranger than AMF who needs you. I want guys who want to play here

@MannyNYR you have got to be kidding DELZOTTO isn't even an NHL player belongs in the minors. Nashville found out the hard way when Sather fleeced them for Klein

Not going to keep Boyle cause he thinks he is a scorer and doesn't want the penalty killing role and checking line role anymore. Whoever pays him will learn what we have been seeing. Good at what he does but never going to light up the scoreboard

Boyle will sign for more money elsewhere and he will end up with the same roll as he had with the Rangers. Teams may promise him more offensive roll but when it comes down to Boyle and  his play that team is going to find out he is not a goal scorer and use him as the Rangers did.  And anybody who doesn't want to be a Ranger than I say F em

@TruBluEsp @AL55S well that's a good reason. Only one year to go on that. Just think Girardi is good but not as good  a fit for AV sysytem as Strolman. McD speed getting back helped Girardi look better in the AV system lots of times

@Brukie_ @AL55S watched him too many times get burned in those tough spots to call him a beast. Not downplaying his value just think Stralman has a bigger upside. Girardi better suited for Torts type teams, not AV sysytem. Plus McD speed helped Girardi looked better  at times

need to sign Anton and try and trade Girardi for up the middle players cause it looks like they may lose 2 centers in the next couple of weeks. He is a better fit for AV system as seen in playoffs with his play versus Girardi's. I like Girardi but clearly doesn't keep up as well in this type of skating team.

Bottom line you can't play for half a game in the Stanley Cup Finals and expect to win. Hank still gave Rangers a chance to do so. He deserved a better fate in this one after that third period where his team hung him out to dry. Need to be better

The problem I have with this years team has more to do  than with Rick Nash.Sure he is part of the problem and an obvious whipping boy for the fans, but the line forms on the left  for the list of players and coaches, and even the league for what we have been witnessing. This Rangers team is not built for the grind of the playoffs. They are being pushed around by a not so physical Penguin team. They don't get any dirty goals. Even last night the 2 goals they did got were initial shot goals that just beat Fleury. They don't have anybody on this team willing to pay the price of mixing it up in front of the goaltender, battling , setting screens, and putting in rebounds. Everything is perimeter. They are soft in the corners too. Even TV pointed that out when they showed Pouliot not finishing his check in the offensive corner on a play early on. In the meantime every time the puck goes deep into Rangers zone Pitt makes sure the Ranger is attacked forcing numerous giveaways. Simple aggressive hockey which other than the fourth line the Rangers show little of. The others get pushed off the puck easy. And the FACEOFFS. They are a lousy  face off team period.Again there best face off guys are fourth liners. Our # 1 center should be that guy, but the Rangers #1 center is really a # 2 or # 3 center. And they are a bad  point team. They have trouble keeping the puck in the other teams zone, are too slow with their decisions.  The Power Play? Too slow, too predictable enough said.  Henrik has been good this year, better in the playoffs but we have seen moments that in past years he would have stole a game.  Not this year.

As for Nash and St Louis, Richards Stepan? I just don't get it. Is it Concussions? Age? Overrated? I just don't get how seasoned scorers in this league turn into players that look like they went to the Peter Nedved school of shooting off the glass. But than again even Peter Nedved scored 50 goals when he had solid players around him

Let's hope we get a fair shake and league doesn't give Pitt an edge cause of their FAVORITE boy Sidney.

@Satchbog  Refs have been horrible in not only this series but throughout the playoffs. I have seen some head shaking calls and non calls from almost every game. I do not understand how the league allows it to continue and always looks a blind eye to the refs efforts.  Lets see how many times they call Sidney for embellishing in the next series. Probably none, and he is in the running for the dive Oscar every year with Marty

Real nice job by Rangers rebounding from a bad effort the night before. Glad the game was the next night so they could get right back to business. They better fix their PP for the next series cause Pens bring more offense and they are going to need it. LGR!!!

there is just no pleasing some people. Nash is a solid player killing penalties scoring goals. Some of you people expect him to wear a cape. Well he is not Messier!! Period.  Other comments compare him to Jagr. Jagr is one of the elite NHL to ever play the game at any age. Nash is not Jagr. He is a very good  player playing with a couple of concussions under his belt without a first line center and doing a good job. This team as a whole has had there ups and downs this year but to pick on him cause of his size and salary is.   I'd be more worried about losing Kreider to injury and getting ST Louis going on Offense than picking on Nash.  Lets Go Rangers

@scrangersfan @AL55S  I don't think you understand they did not give away callahan. he essentially walked away from 6 mil for 6 years and they only have MSL for a little over  1 year. 2015 they will be clear of MSL. and the Rangers have not had a serious draft pick in years because they are never bad enough. They need to tank it in order to get a top pick. and the Jury is still out on MSL and his contribution to Rangers

If the slash was on Marty or SIdney suspensions would be handed out. AKA Gravey on Mario Lepeau back in the playoffs. NHL picks there spots

One slash is bad enough but the slash on the hand with Mac's glove off is enexcusable and should be reviewed by the league. Another clueless set of officials for not recognizing intent to injure by slashing on an exposed hand.
