@Nick23_ on Twitter.
Listen to Pierre moap after Stepan's goal. The first one I think. It's completely unprofessional and uncalled for. I'd like to believe that he has some type of superior who would call him out on that kind of crap, but he ALWAYS does it.
tl;dr: Yes, it's bad.

Every team poses a unique way to be beaten. Failures must always be analyzed, not ignored or brushed off.

@robM68 @NH_NYR_88 "hope"
@robM68 @NH_NYR_88 "in their own conference..."
Lightning and Islanders have walked all over the Rangers. Sure they can beat top teams, I just hope they can continue to beat top teams when it matters most.

Well that sucked.
Seeing them fight after the third period buzzer only after being down 3 goals for more than 20 minutes always looks pathetic to me. Too little, too late.
Why did this have to be against the Islanders?
A big difference between the Isles and the Blueshirts seems to be that the Islanders can walk all over some of the top teams in their own conference(like Tampa & NYR), and that's where the Rangers struggle, so far.
Beat the B's.
@JoeyKocur That coaching staff was okay for a while, but the stubbornness and arrogance of them really became a problem. Sully's powerplay was awful, but instead of the coaching staff making changes, they would blame the players, even calling them out individually to the media. THEY never took responsibility.
However, the new era seems to be working.

Should we do the angry mob thing for glass? Torches and all?

It would be cool to see some more goalie competition but if there was AV would be crucified the first time Talbot costs NYR a game.

I vote Sean Avery to take over.

Wait, we've forgiven Nash for what, exactly?

@SpazzBrown I see what you did there.
Is AV revealing the captain today or is that still just rumors?
PS: The Blueshirts are back! I feel like every year the summer is getting longer and longer...

We want Avery!

Zuccarello has taken multiple paycuts to remain a Ranger and that's exactly why fear this could be his last season in NY. Why stick around when he can get a bigger pay raise elsewhere? I've always subscribed to the notion that MZA loves NYC and doesn't want to leave the team for that reason but now it's at least twice he's taking less money as a favor to Sather. NYC is nice but I'd leave it for a million dollars or two....

If Carcillo does manage to get the suspension significantly reduced and jumps into this series early, he's toast the next time he does something bad.

You lost me at New York Post.
With the way things have been going I'd go as far as to guarantee there will be an embellishment call against a New York Ranger tonight.
I imagine the Rangers aren't buying into it. Cool as a cucumber.
8 months, 1 week ago on Conversation @ http://nyrangersblog.com/
The best case scenario for Danny is a reduction to a 5 game suspension. I feel what Carcillo did falls under rule 40.4, Abuse of officials category III, 3 game minimum suspension. I believe there is no maximum. For all I know Bettman can come out and say Carcillo falls under category 3 and still not reduce his suspension at all.

I love the playoffs.
@DP_Snotty I generally respect the Montreal fan base because as big as it is most are true genuine ice hockey fans. Coming off two series vs Philly and Pittsburgh it's more noticable than ever.

"That was a huge momentum swinging moment and nothing more than “great job.” Pretty awesome to see them act like they’ve been there"
The same attitude stuck out to me in the post game locker room interviews. That was a huge win, but as a fan it's uplifting to see them hold back at this point with a lot of hard work ahead of them instead of celebrating any part of it. I'm sure losing games 2, 3, & 4 vs the Pens has something to do with their current attitude. These guys really want it.
@dylonergan Something about Hank saying it feels like they're all on the same page, as opposed to the last few postseasons, gave me chills. The confidence is strong.
@EquusBiz I'm part of a small group who likes to lurk HFboards after a team loses(Rangers are not excluded) and pull some of the more comical fan meltdowns. Pittsburgh is the most alarming. Real fans are hard to find. Most of them are more than ready to turn their backs on the team at a moments notice. They hate the Pens more than I do.

It would be interesting to see Nash show a shade of personality we haven't really seen before. That said, players like him usually bounce back. I feel like I said this a year ago as well, but as long as he's healthy I would be more surprised if Nash doesn't have an amazing 2014-15 season
Wow. To lose your mother unexpectedly is a horrible tragedy. To lose her right before Mother's day is obviously very hard.
There's no reason anyone should expect him to play. The little I know about Marty lead's me to believe he is a very family oriented guy. No one should expect him to go through the whole game day ritual today. He will do what's right for him in this difficult time.
I send my sympathies to Marty and his family.
@gravey94 So THAT'S how the cup is won. Go figure!
Pretty much all NHL coaches have endured being laid off. Not all of them have won a cup.

The chances of me brawling tonight decreased when some sucker paid $300 per for my west balcony bar stool seats. That said the video looks like (trash in a landfill) young idiots being dumb. They should all get charges against them but I'm sure they won't.
Bullshit. I'd bet whoever wins tonight beats the Penguins.
@SmellyKisio Gamecenter app says MSG
@Bring back Langdon Seeing Doc wear that obnoxious red and black tie in the 2012 series made me give up caring about announcer bias. It will always find a way through.
LETS GO RANGERS!
9 months, 1 week ago on Conversation @ http://nyrangersblog.com/
I'm a little concerned and that is because at this point the Rangers have exposed Emery way worse than the Blue Jackets have exposed Fleury. After 3 games it is clear what it takes to the puck past Emery- force him to move side to side(because he can't) and just bury it. I'm not saying they can't still do that but they will need to switch it up a lot more. The Flyers may have created a slight advantage by changing things up at this point in the series.
"Fuck you, bitch!"

Rangers are gonna go into the Wells Fargo dump with high energy on Friday, and bring home a 3-1 lead for Sunday's game. Boom- guarantee.

I'm sad now that I scrolled down and read the comments. :(
That's why I now only buy into game 7 tickets. Though I know how that decision can go south...
Regarding McDonagh, I believe since he said he's 100% that he is indeed 100%. They've left no doubt that he's ready and that he got extra time off to rest before the playoffs. If the Flyers want to believe he's weak at all they'll leave some ice open and Rangers will get some early goals tomorrow. Or one can hope.
These guys are going to make runs at Rangers players, especially if they might lose. Hold them responsible but rely on the skill game and WIN!

Games 6 and 7 on consecutive nights is an abomination. Teams need to rest....... and I'll need to tell my boss I need to leave early for a game that might not happen. Actually I'm only concerned about the latter. I have tix for game 7, Lol.
Kevin still has his eyes on that Islanders internship...

@Purinton AV hasn't been making the wisest choices on who to put out when as of late. I had a reeeaally bad feeling when I saw Zucc and St. Louis on the ice last night just before the Avs tied it up. But hey, I'm, no expert.
