@BeardedInMD That statement has more validity than you realize. I never said Tebow can be an starting QB if thats what you think im staying. Teams with unestablished quarterbacks can't even consider him as a backup because if the starter is underperforming there will be pressure from the media and these crazed fans to put tebow in... look at sanchez and the jets (not saying sanchez should be starting in the NFL either). If you think that Tebow is still a free agent right now solely because of his deficits as a player you are misinformed, coaches around the league have acknowledged his ability as an athlete and a football player. They just wont "take a chance" on Tebow because of the media attention he attracts. So yes, in my opinion the media has played a big part in his demise. It's impossible for the guy to be low key right now, thats the last thing a team wants out of their backup QB

@Brad_Gagnon  @dlaxn1 Exactly my point, you're reacting to hearsay and not real life events. This is exactly why no team wants Timmy Touchdown, every move (or potential move) that he makes is followed by a whirlwind of hype and attention that is just unnecessary. I used to respect sports journalism because the writers provided insight into what is going on with the players and the franchises in regards to the sport. But every time this guy takes a shit a million people write about it. Why don't you guys focus on what is HAPPENING vs what MIGHT HAPPEN. A celebrated public speaker fizzling in the NFL and possibly taking a position as a football analyst is NOT news. Every article about Tebow since the Jets released him is pure speculation, let the kid make a move then tell me about it.

First off, this was a retarded article trying to piggyback on tebow's popularity to get views, dont deny it (unfortunately I fell for it). However I find the prospect of tebow helping contribute to the same sports media that ultimately caused his demise in the NFL a bit funny. If he goes to one of these networks he will become part of a vicious cycle of over analysis that is turning professional sports into a fucked up version of stupid reality programs like jersey shore. Why don't you write about things that are ACTUALLY relevant, and stop shitting on this dude's career. But hey, I guess reporters know best about what Tebow should do, after all they spend more time analyzing tebow than tebow does..... time to grow up and write about things with actual content sonny
