Yet another out from not staying on the bag.
2 days, 17 hours ago on Dodgers @ Padres August 29, 2014: Finding Hope for Dan Haren
@most valuable 0.2 fWAR Jim Bowden wholeheartedly disagrees.
3 days, 21 hours ago on Dodgers’ prospect Jose De Leon making a name for himself
@BIah Also: YHIHF.
@BIah Some people are born with genetic variants in their olfactory-receptor genes that gives cilantro a "soapy" smell (and thus offensive taste). Wondering if that's the case?
@efb Trout. I'd hate myself for it, though.
4 days, 16 hours ago on Dodgers @ D’Backs August 27, 2014: Scott Van Slyke’s Best-Case Scenario
@dappler218 @ABSmileBunch @NoHitWin2008 Wow, he really faded my memory. LOL. But yeah, RIP Josh.
@dappler218 This is going right over my head...Becks?
Yay, more outs on the basepaths.
4 days, 17 hours ago on Dodgers @ D’Backs August 27, 2014: Scott Van Slyke’s Best-Case Scenario
@Mike Petriello You totally nailed it with the SVS SSS bit in this post. Because just...wow.
4 days, 18 hours ago on Dodgers @ D’Backs August 27, 2014: Scott Van Slyke’s Best-Case Scenario
Seriously though, pretty soon we'll stop running on that damn CFer. LOL
Apparently I can not type without major typo issues.
5 days, 17 hours ago on Dodgers @ D’Backs August 26, 2014: Two Games On, Two Days Off
@Swung at ball 4 Kinda like that one time in 2008 when the Angels no-hit us at home and we still won.
Seriously though, pretty stupid send mend by Bundy, right? AJ running on a CF that pretty much already gunned down a runner at the plate, and with Kemp coming up with a potential bases loaded situation.
Knock on wood, but it's only a five run game...
@TheConman Honestly, I'd possibly (!!!) respect them a, infinitesimal fraction more if they actually owned their bullshit. Weak PR statements like that just make it look even more pathetic.
Yeah, I guess it was too difficult to tell if the heel of his other foot maintained contact or not.
Great play by Hanley. Probably would have been a double play had it gotten through though. LOL
@TellMyWifeISaidHello @Bay_of_Puigs Was it? I missed it apparently. LOL
5 days, 18 hours ago on Dodgers @ D’Backs August 26, 2014: Two Games On, Two Days Off
@Bay_of_Puigs Just a straight sac bunt.
@P_F_P Unsure of this too.
@tsneddy (Fan of Small Ball) It looked like it, yeah, but the tag was made with glove, ball was not in glove.
Also: fuck Miguel Montero.
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW must have been the ball in the hand.
@Bay_of_Puigs That $12 deal is good through midnight tonight? Seems too good to pass up.
@capnsparrow Is CC's arm like Juan Pierre-bad? It seems like he's not all that far from it lately.
@i attend the AVNs @NoHitWin2008 @capnsparrow @Hoze @Lance Uppercut @TellMyWifeISaidHello Kinda like this one @i attend the AVNs http://www.littleleaguecoach.org/getfile/b8980416-90bd-432b-8322-229d34616328/ThreeFingerChange.aspx
5 days, 19 hours ago on Corey Seager headlines Dodgers’ prospects headed to Arizona Fall League
@i attend the AVNs @capnsparrow @Hoze @Lance Uppercut @TellMyWifeISaidHello Could be a three finger changeup. Maybe?
@DBrim @NoHitWin2008 @Hoze Does he trend toward the optimistic most of the time? 3.3, 3.7, 4.0, 4.2 WAR '15-'17 seems pretty generous, no?
1 week ago on Mets 11, Dodgers 3: Future Dodger Bartolo Colon Beats Future Ex-Dodger Kevin Correia
@Hoze Wow, Oliver Projections like Joc a lot: http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa549081&position=OF#longprojection
@PagansOedipalComplex Well, he was in Atlanta anyways.
1 week ago on Mets @ Dodgers Aug. 24, 2014: Welcome back (again), Hanley Ramirez
It was a pretty awful throw made under zero pressure. Just because Gonzo normally picks it doesn't make it his fault.
1 week, 1 day ago on Mets @ Dodgers Aug. 24, 2014: Welcome back (again), Hanley Ramirez
That's on Hanley.
Well, we all knew that Hernandez and Correia were gonna start pitching like Hernandez and Correia at some point.
@Hoze @PagansOedipalComplex @BIah Also this.
1 week, 1 day ago on Dodgers 7, Mets 4: Adrian Gonzalez, Have a Night
@PagansOedipalComplex @BIah Not that it really matters, but he was born on the 12th. http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=urias-000jul
Boring answer, but I hope that whenever it happens, we haven't rushed him. Don't care if it's '15/'16/him starting with the club outta ST in '17).
@TheDeliMan @NoHitWin2008 Oh okay, so roughly 2pm PT (give or take) on Monday there should be an announcement one way or the other.
@DBrim @NoHitWin2008 Ahhh, makes much more sense than my hypothetical scenario. LOL
How long does the waiver process take? I'm assuming each team has a fixed period (two hours? three hours?) of time to decide whether or not to put in a claim once the player has been officially placed on waivers, and then it goes to the next team?
@DBrim It sucks, but he had some things to work on anyways, plus like you said with shoulders I'd rather just be cautious.
@KMT59 Can you remember any of them? I sure can't.
1 week, 1 day ago on Mets @ Dodgers Aug. 22, 2014: Ethier Lives, Greinke Maybe Lives, Beckett Doesn’t Live
Stupid sequencing strikes again.
@Dodger in Florida Yeah, those are just some of the quietest triples of all-time. I can't remember a single one. Hmmm.
Ethier's got six triples this year?
YAY for bunting!!!
1 week, 2 days ago on Mets @ Dodgers Aug. 21, 2014: Jon Niese Arrives In Los Angeles
I like going with a PH for Kersh (and Kenley taking the 9th), but I'm pretty tired of seeing shitty Ethier AB's as of late. Hope he actually does something here.
1 week, 3 days ago on Padres @ Dodgers Aug. 21, 2014: Kinda need this win, fellas
