Whoa, defensive much? Why do people resort to ad hominem attacks instead of talking about what the article is about? Not everything Apple does is amazing, you know.
" We are one people, with one will, one resolve, one cause..."

Have you seen the Calendar? Yes. It's gross. The Address Book book interface is impractical. Photo Booth? Yes. It's cool, but takes up a whole space with it now. Launchpad? Yes. It's cool, but it doesn't replace your Applications folder in the dock. It's redundant eye candy. The scrolling you can change in the preference pane.
Versions is only handy if you want to recover something from long ago. If you recently made a mistake and saved it, a simple command z will do the trick. But, I guess, if you just want to scrap it and start all over again, I guess this might work if undo fails.
Autosave is kind of nice. But, what if I don't want to save my work? What if I just want to use something as scratch paper?
The inline corrections are cool.... Ahh.. But, it's annoying if I'm trying to write "illegal" words!! (Like Shinyness!!) And it's not perfect.. I MEANT to type "Gautama" —NOT "grandma"!!!!! It's really annoying to try to tell it to switch back.
Resume: Firefox. But, I do admit it would sometimes be nice restore sessions for other programs as well. Anyway, this isn't always desirable though. What if you're watching porn—or it could be anything that you don't want some one else to see—and you close the window. Later, your mom or boss or whatever, comes and discovers this. That would be bad.
Gestures are nice too.
However, what do you say about Spaces? You'll probably, retort, "Mission Control." All right. Show me how to arrange desktops in a 2x2 matrix. All right. Show me how to arrange windows within those individual spaces. What if I don't want everything on my computer thrown at me for me to figure out. What if I just want to move around windows within my current desktop and I have a million windows open?
The truth is that Lion is targeted at people with iPhones and iPads. As for me, I think the shinyness and glossyness of Apple was worn off. Ah, five years. Well, back to Windows!!! :D
