I think what worked the best is a new doc, new comp. They're a matched set.
So if Clara left early, that means the next doc is going to get a 2nd hand comp.
1 month, 3 weeks ago on Clara, or a New Companion for Series 9?
All Christmas ones are weird, but weird done in a really weird way.
I thought the Wardrobe was a tad weird, but then along came Carol.
I didn't really like the Christmas Carol at first, but there's just something about it that draws you in.
1 month, 3 weeks ago on Moffat: Last Christmas is the Strangest Thing I’ve Ever Written
It's Doctor Who, anybody could be reincarnated as somebody else, a sister, a cousin, alternate universe Donna. I loved Tate and Tennant they just worked so well together, but would that work with Tate and Capaldi ?
2 months ago on Tate: Donna Return Unlikely
The problem is Clara is just not Amy.
It's not that Jenna's bad, it's just Karen was so Amy and instantly likeable.
And the stories were really centred around Amy and Clara is just a ride-along.
2 months ago on Rumour: Christmas Won’t Be Jenna Coleman’s Last
These were the best series because they made you angry, happy and really sad and sometimes all in the same episode. The ending of Vincent was so moving it really does bring a tear to my eyes every time. Series 7 + 8 just didn't bring out the same physical emotions.

Well that's a sign of a good actor
And the hardest part to play is an Evil one because you want the Audience to hate you, It's easy to e the Good guy and be liked all you have to do is kill the Bad guy

Roger just looks evil without even saying or doing anything
Maybe it means the Last Christmas, as in the Last Christmas Special
2 months ago on 2014 Christmas Special Titled
The season ended with Clara inheriting a Son, so I can't see her galavanting about the Universe back in time to pick the kid up from school and cook dinner. They could of left the last scene out, but they decided to put it in.
So I think all the clues are hidden in plane sight, like all the other previous clues, all you have to do is read them.

Sort of like with Smith, first few episodes not so great, but then later on you can see why they picked him. The same with Capaldi. And I think the writing also changed over time to suit their own personalities where in the beginning they were adapting to the writer.
2 months, 3 weeks ago on Poll: Capaldi’s Doctor – Hit or Miss?
Both Simms and Missy were funny and evil but Missy seems just a tad more Eviler, like you want to kill her yourself. I like that in an evil character.
2 months, 3 weeks ago on Your Verdict on Dark Water & Episode Ranking
I liked the 'sode, a good mix of different things going on.
But the monster was a bit of a let down, sort of like Davros meets Gunslinger, Instead of being twice as bad it was half as good.
4 months ago on Rate & Discuss The Caretaker
The Sound us not very loud and both Coleman and Capaldi are hard to understand at times.
Capaldi doesn't actually move his lips very much, so even lip reading doesn't work.

If I had to show somebody that had never seen the show before,
probably Dalek. The cold war started out Ok but got a wibbly wobbly at the end, or was it the other way round. Either way, I didn't care for it that much.
8 months, 2 weeks ago on Dalek or Cold War?
I love this theme, and my absolute favourite piece of work.
It is the most complicated music track I have ever heard, and that just adds to the appeal.
To replace it, it would have to be as good as, if not leave it alone until one does come along.
8 months, 2 weeks ago on The Theme – Time for a Change?
The US has had several shows with Time Travel as the central theme over the decades, but not one of them has gone more than 4-5 years. The longest being Star Trek, but it wasn't specifically about Time, just set at some fixed time in the Future.

I'll go along with that
The concepts of these stories was Great, but somehow went off course and turned out to be NOT great. The Biggest problem trying to shoe horn it into 45 minutes.

Had lots interesting segments, but as a whole....
If I watched it 100 times, it still wouldn't make sense.
This one smith proved again he can play the evil character and be believable, he was so believable I really hated the evil doctor. And that is sign of really good actor, to be hated and liked depending on the character your playing.

One of those episodes, is it a 5 or is it a 9, 5 9 5 9, ok a 4
It could of been an excellent episode, but 10 minutes in and it just seemed to come off the rails.
It's like, hey I've got all these crazy pants ideas that won't fit anywhere else so we'll call it something something Tardis.

Another one I don't really want to watch again.
That is one thing that marks the difference between S1 to S7A and S7B,
Most of the older ones I can watch over and over, but the 7B's once is enough and twice is a bit much.

But apart from that a classic happy, sad, angry with a happy twist.

Only in the land of Who...
A bit weird, but once you keep telling yourself it's Doctor Who then it makes sense.
I think it's still one of the better ones, and no matter how times you watch it, it always brings a tear to your eye at the end, and if it didn't then your a Cyberman.
Any episode that gets you emotional involved is a winner.

11 months, 2 weeks ago on Would you travel with the Doctor? Pros and Cons
This is one those episodes that starts off bad, evens out a bit then just goes down hill. Luckily it's just a filler episode and has no connection to the series as a whole, so you can safely delete it from storage without affecting the overall story line.

I love the Strax. Your supposed to hate the Villain's. If you like the Villain, then it's not a Villain. But with Strax you can love and hate him depending what he's doing. Strax and the Memory Worm, what a hoot.
I always thought some scenes could of been done better done differently.
The ending was a bit wibbly wobbly
