Any ideas for next year?

The Barge is beached, possibly for the season. It had to happen. Look at his history.Pressure to win is off really.Everyone is hurt.I'm predicting a pull together win tonight vs Kemba.Carmelo has something to prove.Reality is everybody should be loose because Ming is taking the weight for everything.Dolan put together a mismatched set from getgo.JKidd and the vets held it down last year.Carm is not a leader, never was.Look at his Denver history.Great scorer, but great scorers are usually very selfish.Excepting the Slim Reaper. He's busting his ass waiting for Westbrook.Carms will fit in nicely behind a leader.Look for him to force a sign and trade so he gets his 30 mil.It is what it is.Dolan is the problem if you love the Knix.Like the old Giant's situa, they made money but stank, until they ceded operation to prof management.DWalsh turned the team around and didn't want Carm.Did it to keep his job.He also wanted Mark Jackson until DoDo-lan went for the flash and got D'Ant.Laker management and Knix management have a lot in common. They are no-nothing losers.Step away and count your money.Leave Kupchak alone and bring in Jerry West or PJackson to GM the Knicks.Woody is not a terrible coach. He's so so.His milynay players tuned him out in Atlanta and now they're doing it in NY.It's Carmelo's team.If he set the example Woody's schemes would be followed.Willis Reed, Frazier, DeB, Bradley set the golden example. They followed the coach because they all believed in team.Pop had been doing the same for over a decade in SA.Test for you.Who is the owner in SA?You don't know do you. That's because they are smart enough to let someone with brains build it.They just come to count the money.Any questions?

From SI

According to Forbes‘ list, the four most valuable teams in the league — the Knicks (valued at $1.5 billion), Lakers ($1.35 billion), Bulls ($1 billion) and Celtics ($875 million), respectively — remain unchanged, although Chicago becomes just the third team to crack the $1 billion benchmark. The first shift comes in the No. 5 slot, where the Nets made the leap from their No. 9 ranking in 2013. Brooklyn’s valuation showed the biggest increase by percentage between 2013 and 2014, as the upswing of $250 million in value represented an increase of 47.1%.

Imagine what the Knix would be worth if they won a game?Trade Dolan to the Eagles. It's a win-win.

Lucky thing Jr got half his money up front in cash, his brother got half a mil up front and Dolan paid 1.5 mil in D'lux tax on that.Is this any way to run a franchise?

Griff coming to NYC would be pure dumb luck, but I'd take it.Carm wants his money and a trade a la Denver.Question is, is the Sterling .org that dunb?Carm would be a great fit Clips with CP and the big guy behind him/Doc in front. They could win in this weakened NBA, but at what price?Money aside it's a good trade because both teams get what they need.We rebuild with a young personable star, they get Tonto to CP's Lone Ranger.Do it.

oh yeah please include JR somehow. And Bargnani if possible.

If this sounds like blowing it up and starting over you're about right. That's why Dolan won't do it.It means all his machinations came to firing Grunwald to cover his own ---.

@Knicks Fanatic @Tman You're tough.Check the record.I was all over Felt because he wasn't Steve Nash.Today even Nash isn't Nash. But it takes 5 to play and eight to win.Felt has heart and some game.I'd take that over some of his mates who have more game and less heart. There's minutes for all who want to win. This team needs Felt-ON.There is virtually no difference between Lowery and Felt besides their health.Watch for another ridiculous trade.

What was interesting about this game was the intensity of the defensive effort in the 2nd which brought us back. That was the fuse that lit the comeback. The energy level went up and stayed up.Defense generates offense.Murray is not Lin but he's worth a try. He's long and energetic. Not all teams make cuts like SA so if he learns to get over picks and not get lost he can hold his own.He and Shump are a formidable defensive pair.I like Felt.He is who he is and that ain't terrible. He's a good, but not great ball player, a very tough guy, tough, no excuses.Jumping on a guy who's hurt is not right. He got hurt because he busted his ass for us.He was brought back too soon.If he came back out of shape for the season that's different.Felton is not part of the problem. He could be part of the solution. We have other problems, the biggest one is off the floor. It's too easy to pile on the players for the shyte management is responsible for.

Meanwhile we need to proceed with common sense with the Murray-Shump combo. Is it the answer? What choice do we have?Ming knows the deal.Procede with a fine touch and we may win a few.LGK

"Yahoo! Sports reported Thursday Dolan appears worried about giving up too much to the Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri, who netted a lot of pawns in the Carmelo Anthony deal in 2011 when he worked for Denver."

WhoDFycke is the GM of these here Knicks?According to this article we don't have one because he is never named by title or Sir-name.Dolan has come out of the closet. He's making deals based on his extensive knowledge of NBA f-ups (See ESPN article for a brief summary).Ike could actually be the voice of reason here unless the endgame is for the Knix to implode so badly a certain Knight in BullShinning armor is asked to come in and resurrect our NY Zombie Empire.Naw, that's too devious even for this

S'can't-del'us bunch of feebs. And we're still just a few games out of 1st in our division. No wonder Stern wants to retire.Maybe he'll join the fellas on TNT?It's snowing...

Daily News,

"According to several reports, the Knicks were prepared to trade Raymond Felton and Metta World Peace plus Iman Shumpert or Tim Hardaway Jr. or a 2018 first-round pick. The Raptors preferred the first-round pick, but Dolan — who negotiated the Carmelo Anthony trade with Raptors GM Masai Ujiri when Ujiri was with the Denver Nuggets — got cold feet about trading a future asset. That could open the door for the Brooklyn Nets to acquire Lowry instead.

“Dolan didn’t want to get fleeced again by Masai,” was how one Knicks source put it. “They had a deal ready.”

The stupidity continues, (see pg 32 in ESPN mag, might be pg 34)
Felton is hurt because he didn't heal, brought back too soon.Lowery is a healthier version of Felton, maybe slightly better, not a huge upgrade. So to get a healthier version of Raymond you give away Shump, huge upside in less toxic situ, or a first round pick.Lets not even entertain Raymond and Hardaway (kid could be very very good).Raymond and a second rounder. Raymond and Metta (Sorry, we traded Clyde, loving NY is not enough). Not Metta and a 2nd rounder.Metta and Aldridge.Throw in JR's brother on any deal + tickets to JD and the Whatever.Don't give away the baby because you're getting your ass whipped. You should be used to it.Get help at a minimum cost and get better.Trades made in panic mode ALWAYS backfire.Take a deep breath and call DWalsh for some advice.Oh yeah he won't take your call.Wonder why?lgk?

In their defense, ho, ho, ho, seasonal humor, Felton and JR probably came back too soon.Felton has hammy problems which are notorious slow healers.Looks like he's re-injured himself. He's game but hurt.JR is obviously not healed, he's just as crazy, but not fully healed.Who loaded the gun here? Not Woody. He's old school and could be successful where the .org is the same.SA, Indy, somewhere besides where the madmen, rich athletes and/or uber-rich owners, run their teams like their hobbies.

I would still like to know why our old GM was ousted?Where does the new one stand with this team.Mills is the GM.Is he being held accountable for this shyte?Don't think so.What changes if Woody goes? You know who from Ohio State gets the gig.Once the honeymoon is over same guys tuning out.Trading from weakness is a bad place to be.So we need to win a few before we make any. However, I do have a solution.

See not only a critic but a problem solver.

Step1 Make Dolan an assistant coach.

Step 2 He comes to practice with a clipboard and gives everybody who's not doing their best a dirty look.

Step 3 Promise your players everyone busting their asses will be remembered and everyone half-stepping will be traded.

Step 4 Stand back and let Woody do his job.

Help!! The ship be sinking!!!!!

Fire D'olan, not Woody.Woody coaches the players the GM, oops we don't have one of those. We used to, but then we don't really need one.We have a mouthpiece and a mouthpiece in training.Grunwald must have finally stood up and said something for real, ergo, exit stage right, errr.. stage wrong.

Dolanite is a disaster.Last year he got lucky with the old man strategy. If he had that team this year he'd probably be winning the division. They'd surely break down eventually but at least "we'd be entertained" till the playoffs.D'Bargiani may be the absolute worst trade ever. His blocked shots are a sure sign of no respect by players trying to posterize him using his nose as the white line.He is 7 feet long.

It's not Woody.D'opelan needs to back the fycke up and count his money, Billioni's.Bring in a GM who knows the game.Leave the coach alone.By the by, if Melo gets no help soon he'll burn out too.Bring in some size.Tyson can't do it by himself.Melo can't either. We're too small, don't rebound, don't defend correctly. That's where offense should begin. On this team offense comes from Dolan with every decision he makes.

@Peaceman @Knicks Fanatic Shump is worth far more than Sessions. Our needs up front are far greater than at pg.We're not great there but between Prig and Beno we can get by.The guy we need is the one we'll be facing vs. ATL. Paul Milsap. The Hawks stole him for 19 mi for 2 years. He would have been perfect at PF next to Tyson. He is a heavy lifter and would have freed Melo to go to the 3.Unfortunately we were broke (and you know why-see article  referred to in this thread). He would have taken the pressure off Stat et al and might have given us enough muscle to fight off Indy and Chi.He could have been the return of the Oak-man for a lousy 9.5 mil.We could have had a champ caliber piece for chump change.Instead we have just chumps who refuse to change. These guys are making being a Knick fan a hard lift.

@Knicks Fanatic I thought I was a tuff critic, but you are straight-up guillotine.D'Barge was a huge mistake. It's not his fault that he can't do what he can't do.He cost the Toronto GM his job (along with other mistakes) and he would sink the SS (SoStupid) Dolan if he didn't own the boat.Coleangelo the Younger saw another Nowitski, but all he got was a 7ft j-shooter w/o the desire or athleticism to rebound, block  shots or defend.Well, one out of four IS bad!Stupid trade.Unfortunately Woody, an old school coach who deserves better, will probably pay the price eventually for others mistakes.Sad, sad and bad.It is most likely a generational thing, remember the "stars" in Atlanta disregarded Woody until the playoffs every year of his last contract. It is a testament to Woody his record improved each year despite the knuckleheads he had to deal with.Josh S will probably cost Dumars his job.Same scenario here. Woody coaches, he can't play the games too.If he had more mature athletes or more motivated ones (owners stop rewarding mediocrity and irresponsible behavior with million dollar contracts) he could be as successful as Pop.Melo too needs to step it up if he wants to carry any kind of crown. It's that or leave town and join Kobe or Lebron.Yeah, hop on a frontrunner's back if that's the way you want to win your chip.Whatever floats your boat, but don't talk that MVP shyte.NYC is a tough place for wannabees.Lead, follow or get the Fycke out of the way.

Want to read how we got into this mess?Good summary of Dolanesque fycking up and how we've come to be in this Tysonesque (Not his fault) mess.Interesting that DWalsh who advised against many of the moves in the article is now sitting pretty with a championshipesque team in Indy.Woody would be a perfect coach for Indy.Unfortunately he's here holding Dolanite's quasi-colosdummy bag.
