Today is 12th of April, the day I have been waiting for so long for this is the day my when my fate was to be decided. Having scored 100%ile in the CAT2012, the exam which is de facto the most difficult entrance exam for admissions into any business school of the world, I was quite confident of securing a much covered seat at IIMA, India's best business school. But when I saw the rejection mark written against my name on the official results website, I was heart broken. I couldn't believe this has happened to me because I was confident of making the cut owing to my good academic profile throughout school and college life. My dejection son turned into anger and agony and in the heat of the moment I couldn't control my emotions and vented out my anger on the most beloved gadget that I own, my Nexus 4. I threw it straight on to the wall 2-3 feet away from me. The phone collided hard with the wall and fell on the underlying bed. After a few hours when I resented my action and investigated the phone for the damage that I had caused, I was quite surprised to find it in pristine condition with only a few scratches on the back panel. After all the broken back glass stories that I had read, I couldn't believe my eyes, but I guess the credit fires to the nexus 4 oem bumper which I think is quite sturdy. Now I am just glad that although my dreams are broken at least my phone is still intact.
