I don't, have not heard that its too easy...does it pay well? Do you have any moral or personal objections to work I g in that industry? Woul d it llook good/bad on your resume?
Those are probably the most important questions to ask.

I watch it a couple of times each day, really wish we could have won at least one WS with him...maybe once the padres teach him to play first, he can come back as agones repacementvsome day.

Also sorry for all my typos, doing this with my phone and the keyboard is small.

So reasonably soon...would limit future traceability...I'd be happy if they keep him as lh reserve of, but he wouldn't necessarily be happy with that.
Sure, doesn't wrc+ take 'power' into account? Bumgarner obs a decent hitting pitcher who's hr total is an outlier, probs doesn't outhir ethier moving forward. Always assuming dodgers eat a significant portion of that contract in any trade.
So do you think dodgers can just keep him? That wouldn't be so bad, but he gets 10 &5 rights soon doesn't he?
1 day, 13 hours ago on Look How Different The Dodgers Roster Is Now
N ethiers bad season he still had wrc+ of 98, essentially 'average' , that kind of hitter could start on so many teams, I'm a little surprised that they haven't been able to find a suitable trade partner yet.
So, also I'd say no onbeachy
Unless he accepts his assignment
I still tink that if they do go after another, reliable starter that they do it through trade at this point.,.pickings among free agents are so slim now...and scherzer or shields seem like they'll demand contracts that go against the front office's goals and philosophy.
No to Vogel, beachy would be another high upside, but risky signing
I still love that they've done exactly what we hoped for, shore up the fringes, improve org depth, and then reshape the major league starting lineup (while co tinuing to shore up fringes and depth)
I was going to ask the same thing
2 days, 2 hours ago on Brian Wilson released by Dodgers after unsurprising lack of interest
@Purple Drank @ABSmileBunch Somewhere below, Mike said something along the lines of would be nice if we didn't have to expect 2013 paco and had someone else as insurance...
...I suppose anderson could be that insurance, but need that other rotation piece...haven't heard anyrumblings about htat lately...but that doesn't mean they aren't working on something.

Would Brian Matusz be a good option as a Loogy in the dodgers bullpen?
@Purple Drank @ABSmileBunch Also, part of why beane's players peak in value is because he finds ways to get the most out of them by exploiting platoon splits, specialties, etc. So, in a way he does do what I suggested....I was just goofing on the idea that he had taken it futher since everyone is so dismayed about his plan this offseason.
@Purple Drank @ABSmileBunch I know, I know...still I like the idea of experimenting with crazy ideas for winning at baseball.
@Jeremy_N Zaidi's bullhorn certainly doesn't.
@Purple Drank @ABSmileBunch by doing something completely off the wall.
@Purple Drank @ABSmileBunch Nope, it's true, I wrote that...I'm sure it's false about Beane's plan...but I like to imagine that he's outsmarting us all.
@internet baseball fan potato friend So, essentially since there are more RH pitchers in the league, the mainly RH lineup will receive more than the usual share of sliders?
@ngross32 @- Casey - below.
So, with the moves billy beane is making this offseason here are the thoughts I sent to my A's fan brother:
maybe he's finally going all in on the idea that 'luck' has a lot to do with whether or not you win ball games...he's given up on the idea of 'players' and is focusing on getting a random collection of qualities, each of which can be exploited to maximize the odds of success over the course of a baseball season.
@- Casey - Awww Butters.
@capnsparrow @ABSmileBunch @Weston T so, why wouldn't they see lots of sliders regardless of the number of RHB's they have?
@Dustin Nosler @ABSmileBunch either way, dodgers pay him right.
@Dustin Nosler @ABSmileBunch so, he elects FA? and the dodgers pay all of his salary minus league minimum (if someone signs him)?
@Dustin Nosler @ABSmileBunch since he's guaranteed money.
@Dustin Nosler @ABSmileBunch with B. Wilson, what happens if no one wants him?
@Weston T do sliders only work against RHB's?
@Dustin Nosler anyone surprised about this? Does being DFA'd mean he'll be at OKC for the dodgers, assuming nobody snags him? I suppose I'm still not 100% clear on how this sort of roster move works...
DFA means removed from 40 man roster, so any team can claim him? or he can elect FA if a trade is not orchestrated? Same story as Brian Wilson right?
@Weston T are those 2 peterson's related?

I hope the padres devour some more catchers this winter.
@Purple Drank @ABSmileBunch @Dustin Nosler @ThtsaPaddlin @- Casey - lol...no, I suppose not.
@moneynow27 @- Casey - when they visited KC, he was in Puigs' posse (along w/ hanley, and Ryu)
@Purple Drank @ABSmileBunch @Dustin Nosler @ThtsaPaddlin @- Casey - almost weekend, I think I can update it, though I don't think any of the pitchers have changed since the one I gave you the other day.
@Purple Drank @Dustin Nosler @ThtsaPaddlin @- Casey - all of god's children are unique in their own way.
so padres have traded away 4 catchers this winter.

I'll miss that beautiful follow through on fingers to right center.
Dontvteams insure big contracts like kemps in case of injury, wouldn't kemp going on the DL, at least be paid by insurance?
