For some reason I read that Headline as "Rangers Sign Del Zotto". The lack of hockey is breaking my brain

I think I'd still prefer Beuk. We have plenty of skill on D already, what we're missing is snarl. No offense to the guy, but when Anton Stralman is consistently your biggest hitter on D you need a monster like Beuk pulling the strings

Posted on the other thread, but I still feel like this-

This is the remains of a failed Torts team, with 2 black hole contracts and no plan or foresight put into their building. They had the worst start to a season in franchise history. They made it to the finals and only lost against a superior team that needed bounces to seal the deal. Im usually a pretty grumpy old bastard, but I cant wait to see what these guys can do with a team that is built to play AVs style of hockey.

Why is an internet troll like a chicken with a parsnip rammed into its urethra?

Because you know that there was more effort and forethought put into growing the parsnip

I agree with everything apart from the first line. It pisses me off that I sound like stRangers, but that was a pretty demoralising 2 games-bad refereeing is so commonplace in this league that any team that lets it get to them deserves to lose

I've been thinking for a while now that most of the problem with Nash is a mental health issue. I'm no psychologist but I have spent years living with bouts of depression (and not just Rangers related), and looking back to when I was playing it really affected the flow of my game. Obviously I was nowhere near competitive level and I was a stay at home D but when I was feeling good I just went out and played on instinct, when I was down I didn't trust those instincts and ended up over thinking every decision. When Nash is in a slump he seems to take an extra half second before every pass or move so the opposition can predict him easily. When he's on a streak the decisions are made so quickly even his team mates are surprised at times.

His whole body language and demeanour changes when he goes into a slump, his shoulders drop, he looks heavy on his feet and he gives off the impression of not caring. All of these effects stand out like a neon sign to me that the guy believes he can't make the right decisions and plays over cautious. It might also explain why one of the bigger names on the team seems to be involved in less interviews, promos, public appearances etc.
