I still can't watch the handshake or the Kings raise the cup....I don't think I ever will. Every other season, I watch it with full appreciation of what both teams in the finals accomplished. I just can't this time. Probably never will.

On a lighter note...I'm going to be the superstitious sports fan and blame the Sports Illustrated cover. Yup. Just cause I can.

@Rangerssuck  In the event that you ever watch a hockey game, or learn about the sport,,,,watch the series. There's a book called "HOCKEY FOR DUMMIES". You can probably pick it up at Barnes and Noble or Amazon. Manhandled...is last thing I would say about that series. But you'll learn that once you learn the sport.......

Kevin, thank for doing an amazing job with this day in and day out.

I feel awful today. Just awful. I cried. I admit it.

I have so much to say, but I am just honestly too emotionally spent to even write it all out. Maybe in a few days. So many emotions right now.

But I wanted to get on here to say Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there. Enjoy your families!

Let's Go Rangers!

Point taken---but i would add that this is the Stanley cup finals. Mistakes like this cannot be made by the officials. Regardless of what team is playing.

Just disgusting that the goal was allowed. Mistakes like that cannot be made in the Stanley Cup finals. Horrified by that even when I saw it live...it just gets worse when I re-watch it.

That being said.....the team that I am watching is more than capable of winning this series. Anyone lucky enough to be at the Garden Monday and Wednesday needs to make it loud. These guys are playing with heart and soul, and are certainly skilled enough to take this series. Let's Go Rangers!

I typically read only and don't post. But I am disgusted by this outcome. The inconsistency in this league are what makes the nhl a joke to people who don't follow hockey all season. Hey it's a joke to me at this point. Just disgusting.

Step put forth a solid effort last night in spite of the pain that he was probably in. This rangers fan appreciates the extra effort.

Congrats to Hank. To me, the team looked like they gave a hoot again. I'll take that -and two points- any day of the week.

I'm not getting over excited about Nash ...until I see this on a consistent basis. It doesn't have to be balls to the walls every shift but clearly this guy hasn't been giving all that he can to this team. He proved that last night. I want to love the guy...I really do...let's see how things go tonight....in dirty jersey.

@AL55S @ranger67  The toughness and the grit are a MAJOR issue. I think that if we had that-everything else would be working much better right now. Prust looks like he was worth it all right now. He was actually an insurance policy (for the proctection and performance) of top line guys if you think about it. Look at what's happening-teams taking liberties because they can. No one is afraid to smack Nash or anyone else around. The money that is sitting home watching Hockey Night Live would be on the ice if we paid Prust. But hindsight is always 20/20. I didnt think he was worth it when it all went down. Now I do.  Plus, if I remember correctly- a few years back he also lead the league in short handed goals. If he didnt lead-he was close. We miss him, and Dubi, bad. Also- those two actually gave a crap out there. So far this season, I don't see one thing that I feel is solid about. Oh wait- I do...if Cally isn't in the lineup, we are in deeper trouble than I originally thought.

Ok...so I finally signed up with this livefyre because I can't just sit back and read. I need to rant. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, RANGERS? The team that I am watching right now does not seem to be putting out the effort that is good enough for a winning season. On paper, there is more talent than there was 2 years ago. The difference now is: how bad do the guys on the ice want it, how hard they will work, and if they trust each other on the ice. Two years ago, who did we have? gabby, Hank and Richards? Even if we were down 2-0 a first period, we always came back and worked HARD. Always. I can take a loss when we put out the effort. I cannot accept a lack of effort and a loss. Can't.

I'm just grumpy about this seaon right now.
