Funny fact in regards to the 6.5% number... This number is the precise percentage to which the NJ Devils, who led the regular season on SHG, scored while short handed.
YES.. the Rangers are just as likely to score on a power play with a man advantage as the NJ Devils were while a man behind.. Talk about the chance of rain..!! Pathetic.
FTW -- 11 short handed goals on 169 times being short handed
@Josh6 Sounds like last year. They were deadly going into the third period with a lead. I think that is one of the things that I miss the most from last year. It's also one of the things that needs to happen to make a deep run this year.

@TruBluEsp I didn't think of that, is that how they have been handling it? I would think he would line up as center to take draws and then play as a wing after the draw.
Am I in the minority in thinking that we need to have Boyle playing center? He was doing great taking the draws. No to mention that now he has seemed to find a way to use his size to his advantage.
@IcyCup @JoshKaye what is 'Shawshank Redemption' for 200 Icy?

"The Jets have lost four of six, totaling only two goals in those losses." -- that sounds familiar.
It's amazing that he has the 7th best save percentage. If you didn't watch a game this year and just looked at his numbers, he would look like 'good' goalie. Given what he has to put up with game in and game out, it's incredible what he has been doing. It's terrible that he has to stand on his head every night to even give them a fighting chance.

I think the biggest issue (in recent weeks) is Torts changing the lines every game. These guys play with no familiarity; they have no idea where their teammates are going to be. They need to get used to playing with the same couple of guys each shift, that's the only way they're going to create chemistry.
