If the Spurs beats the Lakers tomorrow, LA could potentially fall at the number 4 seed. I think the Spurs are smart enough not to make that happen. But If Dallas and OKC both loose today, then the game tomorrow against LA will be more exciting. Although I still prefer to rest the starters than forcing them to play a lot of minutes in a regular season game.

IF Jefferson averaged 17 points somebody from the Big three will average less points. You lose some, you gain some. I'm sorry but the kind of questions makes me laugh. I think Jefferson's scoring average is OK, the only problem is he is not aggressive like in the beginning of the season.

I suspect Ginobili and Duncan will be back together in the lineup after one more rest. The Boston game is huge, but the Spurs should prioritize being healthy above all.

It's good to rest Manu tonight it will be better for the Spurs heading into the playoffs but at the same time, they needed a big win.

The Spurs' system requires good outside shooters to be more effective, Matt Bonner has to shoot at least 40% from the field for the opposing teams to respect his shot, If he shoot's poorer than that, the defense can focused on clogging down the middle and that will be tough for the Spurs. Good thing we have Novak and Neal this season.

Spurs wins by double digits, that is my prediction. I don't agree with what Zach said about Blair, in my opinion, Blair is doing a good job in helping the Spurs frontline. He may lack in size but not in energy and hustle for the game.

This article is right on target, I think George Hill and Gary Neal has stepped in fill the role that was left by Manu Ginobili, the offnsive spark off the bench this season has been great. Matt Bonner is also having great year for the Spurs.

As @JohnAbney mentioned, Troy Murphy expressed his interested to play with east teams so it will be a long shot. I don't even think the Bobcats will let go of Przybilla so most likely the Spurs will have the same lineup going into the playoffs.

The Spurs are boring, they only have Manu the Argeantian Assassin, Parker one of the quickest PG's in the league, TD the best PF of all time, DeJuan Blair the undersized center who plays with a lot of heart, the Red Rocket the lists goes on and on so we are boring to watch! LOL! Go Spurs Go!

3 years, 5 months ago on Spurs news and notes: Spurs spoil the fun, Manu wants payback, and more

I agree that Parker is engine of the Spurs, but i was proven in the past the Spurs can survive well without for a short period of time. Last season, George Hill stepped up big time in his absence. I think right now Manu is the most important Spur because he plays with passion and always gives that spark and edge when he is on the court. That kind of attitude is irreplaceable. Go Spurs Go!

The game was so exciting and the finish was amazing, but I think the Spurs actually won the game because of goo defense my favorite line: 16 - The Spurs held Kobe Bryant to just 16 points on 5-18 shooting from the field. Kobe missed 13 field goals and Manu was mainly responsible for it. Have to him props with the kind of defense he made against Kobe.
