The crowd sounded pretty loud right on the ice. Sweet.

@gravey94  "Enlist Now" was the preseason marketing for ticket sign up for season tickets i think.

I LOVE the locker room footage! I like seeing personality from these guys (players during post game interviews look and sound like POWs).

LOVE the "Above and Beyond" motto adoption. Way better than a fucking Drake reference, gross.

@gravey94  The 2011-12 season was one of the most fun seasons to watch, for me at least. Best one since '94. They played their ass off every game and it showed. It was FUN to watch them. Also, they finished top two in the league that year proving they had an awesome season AND they lead the league in fights.

@KevinTheNYRBlog  JT, for a while, played with a noticeable edge. Scrums after whistles, mildly agitating, etc....that's a plus for him that Fast doesn't have...though both players have their upsides....don't forget they're filling in for The Kreider.

@EHBIGAPPLE I understand your point on asking why certain very good if not great players were let go or traded by their former team but sometimes players have a shelf life.

Maybe the direction and culture of the team is changing, maybe the team simply can't afford them. There are many factors. I mean, why the hell would the Pens let Jaormir Jagr go? The Pens traded him for a bunch of nobodies after he put up a 121-point season.

@Say my Name In playoff hockey the team that wins is the team that takes the biggest beating, because they simply play the hardest. That can be said about any team during to the playoff stretch.

However, the Rangers could have made the Sens pay for this win just a little more...

@Josh-CK  I'd love to see Kristo or Lindberg or Fast called up and I'd like Miller to stay on the team....is it too late in the season for that, or does calling up a hungry player provide a spark? Definitely missing Kreider and MacTruck.

@Sean Clark  I believe in McIlrath - he should be given a chance at the big show just like Miller has been given many roster spots, but still hasn't cracked it, yet. There are a few McIlrath detractors here, which is fine - there's two sides to every coin.

@Wallace1  "Gretzky likes Carcillo's moxie and energy. He thinks Carcillo can grow into a 30-goal scorer, a poor man's Rick Tocchet who can ride shotgun on a first- or second-line. But Gretzky had to initiate several chats this season about skating the fine line between combativeness and chaos..."

Accountability. Is Jim Ramsay responsible for making the decision, based on the advice from a medical professional given to the head coach, who is fit to physically and mentally able to play? Jim Ramsay is the head athletic trainer for the NHL's New York Rangers - is it him? This guy was the physiotherapist for Team Canada 2014.

Does this pretty much guarantee Miller a spot on the team? I'm a Miller fan but it really sucks losing out on the size and potential strength Kreider could have dished out during the playoffs.

LOVE that they're rolling four lines consistently. It's tough going deep into the playoffs forcing a 3-1/2 line system like Torts did. F the Flyers and F Boston.
