@pkh33 Which kinda makes you think he might not have that much of a personality. So he wears $2,500 suits and is Mr. GQ. His apartment is dope but pretty sterile. His Instagram is all pictures of himself, not what he's up to. Throwing glitter and lightning on your helmet doesn't really show who you are.  However, his ESPN commercials are funny, so he has that going...

Whatever though, to each their own. Both are cool.

Of the handful of face offs MZA has take he's always pulled off some crafty, left field shit. He should take a few more draws next season.

@IcyCup I went through most of his tweets and this guy has personality. I like it. So many NHLers are great character guys, wholesome, etc. but they're so dry it's painful. This guy isn't afraid to show who he is, while so many NHLers are simply homers.

@KevinTheNYRBlog @allagash Hockey players know ice surfaces differ from rink to rink (always bored with post game questions from the media; we never hear about, "so how was the ice tonight?"). A player could catch a tiny rut and knock him off his stride or the puck could simply hop over a stick-blade or deviate from the projected destination for many reasons, ultimately altering any kind of stat. I'm not sure how these stats accommodate the many variables and the spontaneity and freestyle that is ice hockey.

@G  "Dubinsky, 28, had 16 goals and a career-high 34 assists for the Blue Jackets last season, and his 50 points were third on the team in scoring. He led the club in faceoff winning percentage (52.9 percent), penalty minutes (98) and was second in hits.

But it was his defensive play and on-ice leadership in a first-round Stanley Cup playoff series against Pittsburgh -- he mostly dominated Penguins star Sidney Crosby -- that raised Dubinsky's status within the organization."

"He set the team record for most hits in a game with 13 against Dallas. The previous record was 12, held by Brooks Orpik."

@ATCRyan Part of me wants to see the NHL as an entity just crumble. Love the caliber of hockey but as an organization/governing body they're awful.

@Ticklemetikanen10 I'm not mad at it if the price is right. Lately he'd been playing on the fourth line as well as getting scratched. However, he is 6'4", 220lbs...need the size and like you said, he could be a Poopsesque project.

@johnAMIRANTESrug Not for nothing but Stralman could really lay down some serious hip-checks. Rare these days, and even more rare that a Ranger (now ex) knows how to deliver a hit, and I'm not talking about just finishing a check.

@Gorangers0525 Stralman was a nobody. Mitchell was a nobody. Boyle was a nobody. Poops was a nobody enigma. All earned their keep here and got rewarded for it...Rangers organization might be good for the new guys acquired. The System.
