Old and in the way.
Just got an email from BurnZone and the new system is ready to go. I'm trying to get in touch with BRB now to let him know (probably on his way home).
Here is an excerpt from BurnZones email:

@GaSoldier I'm thinking it will be a night game - just guessing/hoping
@GaSoldier not yet
@ZippyMorocco I don't know, Zippy. With all the pub that Nick has received one would think that would have been mentioned. I did a quick search and found the question asked several times with no answer.
@HalWelch Thanks, Hal

We are still on track for a 7 AM switch to the new commenting system - Burn Zone.
These folks are bustin' their butts to get the system ready for BI. We had some requests that they agreed to accommodate and BI will be the largest site on the system in terms of comment volume.
A couple of the things that they are doing are importing all of our old comments and readers....and that's a lot....over 1/4 gig. So everyone should be recognized by the new system....with the exception of your avatars. Those will have to be re-done.
I'm sure we will have some growing pains with the new system but we were on the old one for 4 years and still have some of the same issues that we had years ago. This time we are in direct communication with the owners and developers....a big plus.
LEXINGTON, Ky. --- Georgia senior Elizabeth Tepe captured her second straight title in the hammer throw at the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Championships in Lexington, Ky., on Thursday afternoon.
@biggityben That is the current meme but usually they say something like "if he stays healthy" rather than saying the has a history of injury.
The crab legs caper caught on tape
@Dawg4Life3 All name team
As they should...
@Backwudz A couple of seconds? Typo execution is very high on the BI list of employable skills. We can do way better than a couple of seconts
@bigredballer Is that it? ;-}
@bigredballer He told me last Saturday that he would announce early if he was ready. I think the only thing holding him back is the chance to get the all-expense trip to SoCal.
@dawg3fan4 @007Dawg=Tuck Fech!!!!
Here is my view on the matter:
@Bleudawg I'm wondering if the pending personnel matter was hiring the new football coach?
@Bleudawg @godawgs678 @bahits - 2 blinks and the grandchildren arrive
@bigredballer FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!!
For every problem there is a redneck solution
@AtomicDawg That is a great tutorial.
Here is an update on the arrest of Georgia's winningest football coach, Larry Campbell:
It was a packed house during a heated Board of Education meeting Monday night. The community was expecting the board to make an important personnel decision, but when that didn't make it on the agenda, the crowd got upset.
"My father was offended by some of the things that were being said about me as a superintendent, and as I think any father would, he felt that he needed to take up for me," Brian Campbell says.
An incident report says the victim made the comment '...this is on you Dr. Campbell. You are the one who caused this...' directed to the Superintendent. That's when witnesses say Coach Campbell stormed across the room.
Gary Norman witnessed the events unfold at the meeting.
"When he ran by me, he grabbed the guy in the shirt collar," Norman said.
Norman says he pulled his wife out of the coach's path because he could see trouble coming.
"When I saw what happened, I reach for her to get her out of the way because I didn't want her getting hurt," he said.
An incident report says the Coach told the victim, 'he would kill him that he called his son a liar and he would not talk to his son that way.'
"Everyone tries to protect their own kids, but I believe as adults, we should know when and where it helps," Norman said.
"He regrets the action, as far as being arrested, however, I can't emphasize enough, I think he was doing what any father would, and I don't think he regrets that decision," Brian Campbell said.
The police chief says at this point, no other witnesses have corroborated the victim's story about the verbal threats. So Coach Campbell is only being charged with simple battery at this time.
@AtomicDawg That's all a smokescreen, as you said. Doesn't matter if it is the Texas 2 Step, it is an excuse.
