Yes, I had Tulo, so the trade was a no brainer to me. Excited to see who's right on Braun.

It's just my opinion people way over estimate the amount PEDs help people. It doesn't turn mediocre talent good, or we wouldn't see people time after time toiling away in the minors getting busted for PEDs. Not to mention Braun didn't fail a test till recently. So either he was keeping ahead of the testing, or he was using in an amount small enough to not be detected. Now, using that thinking, say it did help him a bit. Say now he's a .280, 30 hr, 90 rbi/run guy, with 10 SB...that's a more than reasonable drop off. That makes him roughly equal to Adam Jones, who is a 1/2 round talent. Now say That's more a 3/4 round production. Drafting him early for the possibility of top 3 production doesn't seem too far off to me. Now me, I wouldn't pay that for him, because I have an adversion to risk in my top 4 type picks, but in my auction league, I traded Matt Adams and Elvis Andrus for him...great deal imo.

While neither does a PED suspension, or a bad first week make a 5 time all star and MVP caliber player a bad investment. Unless he was injecting magical liquid into his veins that made him really great at baseball, he's going to be ok. The only worrisome thing is the thumb, which no one knew was still an issue, at least no where I read. Some people act like he was juicing like Bonds and Mac. Have you seen Braun before? Does he look like a juice head?
Spoke a little early on Braun?
Very confused why your first two players on your dntl both have your steal approval to be drafted where they're being drafted. I thought the whole point of a dntl was to not trust the players. I also enjoy that this section is called Don's Don's Do Not Trust List.

@donnypump I agree 100% way too low on the steal numbers.

Question, is Carlos Gomez going to be at the top of the Brewers lineup or the bottom and where do you draw whichever conclusion you come to from?

I'm pretty sure you're wrong on Gyorko...everything I read says "barring something unforeseen" he will be the starting 2B.

Why post that a guy who definitely won't make 600 AB with 615 of them, but someone who has a chance at getting there in Morales only getting 450?
